Mr. and Mrs. Wirtz……I absolutely adore you both so much! The love and respect that you have for each other is so beautiful to see. It was so much fun to see you both on the Newlywed Game. Being born in the early 60’s, I used to watch it all the time. I am of Japanese descent and my husband is Hispanic. Living in SoCal, the melting pot of many different cultures, has been great for us as a mixed couple. Our 27 year old son has embraced the traditions of both cultures, and for my husband and I, it’s a beautiful thing to see. I was born and raised in a state where there were so few Asians. I was bullied daily, as a child, for being of Japanese descent, especially being born 16 years after the end of WWII. When my father had the chance to move us here to SoCal, back in the late 70’s, I was ecstatic to say the least. I finally found somewhere where I could finally fit in…… I thank you both for sharing your lives with us. I always look forward to your videos! I love this. How on Earth did you find this 46 years ago? My parents were on Beat the clock in 1958, & yes, they’re still around. I’ve tried to find it, but I guess it was too long ago. They were also on “ Do you trust your wife,” with Johnny Carson, Can’t find that either. What a treasure keepsake this is, & you really did come out winners, when you think about it. They may have won the bedroom set, but you you both made it! Still in love, I’d say you won!❤️😘
