@SipLeila I happen to have worked in a union filled with women. When the elections came they turned into angry, gnarling whippets. And spread their anger all over the agency. Soon we were supposed to go out and march and many of us did not care that much. Some of us have seen too much in life to get so worked up, but the single women were worried they might get laid off. If you look at layoffs among the private sector companies, they can take place and no one dies or goes out to march. But at a state office, the women were really obnoxious. They also tried to make everyone unhappy, even if we were married and not very worried. I had been laid off before by a struggling bank and guess what - I lived and got a better job than I had before. The women who ran the union were honestly not very good-looking and always had a bitter look on their faces. The steward was one of the worst and tried to get us to complain at every opportunity. She became a joke and we all tried to avoid contact with her. When anyone had a legit complaint, it didn't go anywhere. But the dues kept pouring in and going to the attorneys who really ran the union and to the Democrat politicians. I never once ever heard any great story about how the dues helped any members at all.

It's so refreshing to hear positivity and hope back in politics. Being a man I can't comment on the women's rights, other than that I support them wholeheartedly. I do understand inequality being gay, and having the frustration of someone with full rights at birth wanting to take away other's rights when they are completely inconsequential to their own. I'll never understand that bigotry.

I have always respected you. Your show is amazing! I would suggest that you open your interviews to regular women who have not become famous but have changed many lives for the benefit of women, the disabled, marginalized, quietly without fanfare or money. Ask for the everyday hero stories and choose several a year. The problem with interviews with famous women is that everyday people never think they can make a difference, so they do not engage in the community. America needs more everyday women in the spotlight. 😊

I feel like a candidates race/sex/features they can’t control shouldn’t be considered when determining the leader of America. I feel like maybe we should look more at their actions, policies, and relationships to current events. But that’s just me. No telling what the average American thinks now.

I agree with your sentiment about treating everyone the same way regardless of their outward appearance. Unfortunately, we are not living in a time when everyone from every group had the chance to live and interact with the other groups to get familiar with each other. You see KZbin videos of blacks living in China, and the people there are interested and want to ask about their skin colors, etc. This is the case worldwide, where people are not exposed to other groups. Over time, we can overcome this.

Oh, for sure. But human nature is that we tend to take into consider our own race, sex, features, more than the groups we didn't grow up with or don't associate with deeply. That is why a bunch of males voted to ban abortion. No female would do that because they understand the material consequence, not just a theoritical one.
