I always clean off the mold edges, because everyone else does ... I was wondering if there was a definitive reason for this? Looking forward to seeing your review of the other soaps! Still anxious to find out what came in those two packages that were delivered last week!

I think it’s just purely aesthetic reasons why the sides are wiped haha! The unboxing is coming soon!

I remember wondering that most when I first started soaping, and once in a while (two years later) it still made me wonder if there was a reason for it, other than to make the mold look clean, while the soap is setting up ... Looking forward to the unboxing ... super curious here in Northern Ontario lol

Do you think it excellorated so quickly because there was more fragrance oil concentration being that the total amount wasn't mixed I to the total soap base?
