Lol ! Yes lots of feedback at that venue… i did have a noise gate. The sound guy also loved to blast me in the monitor… But The problem was actually with my volume knob. It kept coming loose at the nut so when i slid it all the way “off” it was still wiggling… i fixed it for the next day though. Someone building the barricade let me borrow his pliers and lock-tite

⁠​⁠@@drewc_guitarsI saw that you kept fiddling with it in the vid, gotta love gear crapping out on you mid-set lol That’s the worst when sound guys do that, though. I always ask to have all sound shut off in the wedges because I use IEMs and some of them still choose to blast everything through them, causing feedback in mics, etc.

Exactly my case. Noticed it right away but my backup had a short from the gear getting wet the night before. I also used a boost pedal… so after my solos the sound guy loved to crank my volume to ‘compensate’ for the drop in volume after solos 🤦🏽‍♂️ thus breaking my noise gate threshold.
