to anyone curious what was happening with the loud clicking sounds at the end of each level, the release patch of Cuphead had an issue where certain sound effects weren't affected by the in-game "sound effects" volume slider. since jerma has a tendency to use in-game volume controls rather than just adjusting it in his streaming software, he likely turned the SFX volume down before the stream during some kind of audio test and that made the results screen clicks really really loud compared to everything else.

Yeah I'm pretty sure that's intentional, I remember seeing an interview with the dev's and they said they drew a bunch of inspiration from old games and that the frog level is especially focused on Street fighter. Like the firefly spitting attack is visually similar to Dhalsim's yoga flame (or yoga fire, I don't remember) attack and the clap the green frog does on the left side is visually similar to Guilles Sonic Boom. I think when the frog rolls, it's supposed to be similar to Blanka. I'm pretty sure the background is also supposed to be reminiscent of SF backgrounds. Those are the examples off the top of my head but I'm sure there are more.

Epikracked He found a few places where it helped in the video like when he had to platform and fight a boss that liked to move around the top edge. But the HP power lowers your damage and homing is weakest in situations where you can easily hit the boss Also you might home in on small enemies too much when you could avoid them and hit the boss My main point is against the mentality of those people. Tanking hits a lowering your dps to hit without aiming don't actually help you in this kinda game.
