this was the first game i ever got for pc they made all the melee weapons do next to no damage except for the hidden mace because they would kill anne when she stowed them on her back due to everything having physics this game also has some of (if not the) first inverse kinematics in a commercial game the dinosaurs procedurally animate their own movements (poorly) the same breakthrough that euphoria would become famous for decades later it was a groundbreaking gem that sadly was left unfinished, it may be peak jank, but it invoked wonder that few games have since

Trespasser isn't even close to peak jank. There are so many more horrendous games out there. For how jank it is, it's still surprisingly fun. It's like a 4/10 game that, if they managed to get it working right, would have easily been a 10/10.

Also, one of the earliest attempts at a fully immersive (dead space like) ui. Seriously, this game had an insane amount of innovative ideas that the industry would incorporate later on. Makes me wonder just how much this game inspired its "evolutions". Game was just too ambitious for its time (though I'm sure that was only part of the problem). As a tech demo, this game could be considered revolutionary.
