@@jj8762 i know this was a while ago but i gotta gush about moths. butterflies are a kind of moth! they are a subset of moth! kinda like how toads are a kind of frog, butterflies are moths in the superorder papillonidae. there are sooo many gorgeous and interesting beasties....if u wanna see some silly ones u should check out gem caterpillars. a living fruit gummy :)

I've only ever seen one in my life, at Fort Wilderness in Florida. I remember being so amazed and confused, because it looked and acted much like a hummingbird but also resembled a moth, so I literally googled "moth hummingbird" and was very pleased to see that they are indeed real and I wasn't just being dumb lol. Hawk moths in general are so freaking cool, not sure if they're rare here but I wish there were more of them!

Jerma and I could not be further apart regarding bug size vs reaction. If I see a huge bug I am immediately like 5 times more alarmed than if I see some tiny bastard I can stomp on no problem. If a bug is the size of a fucking small bird, that’s too big. Bugs shouldn’t be that big
