i sobbed my absolute eyes out, what a lovely, deserving award. :-( last year around this time i was told there was a large chance that i wouldn’t live to make it till now, and i ended up dropping out of school right before graduating because of how sick i was. yet somehow i’m here today, and really, really healthy with treatment. i found jerma in december and since then i’ve been able to pick up school again. he’s been able to give me hope in such a new way. i know this is a long way of saying it but i appreciate him and this community a lot , go jerm !!!

I met Jerma once. I was in a cafe and I recognized him. I said “you’re the guy from Twitch, right?” but as soon as I said the word “twitch” something changed in him like a sleeper agent. He just started beating the shit out of people with his fists and then got up on the counter and started screaming “I’M THE KING OF LAS VEGAS!” (Which was a really weird thing considering this was in Boston) over and over until several men in black suits and sunglasses came in and subdued him and took him away in a van that looked like it was for catching dogs. i think it really speaks to jermas character that he has repeatedly chosen to make his acceptance speeches about how hes grateful for the community that hes built around him. we all make fun of him and say hes not real, hes a psycho, etc, but i think we all do it knowing that he is actually just an awesome, sincere, caring, wonderful guy. even the fact that he was ready and willing to organize getting a new tv for a fan jst shows how generous and open his heart is. i hope more streamers now and future streamers aspire to be like jeremy

I first started watching Jerma long before I entered high school, when my older brother recommended his tf2 videos because "he says spy in a funny way". I watched all of his main channel videos and was super excited when I found out he had a second channel too. He was always an obscure KZbinr only me and my brother really knew about.
