Sweetheart is definitely a groovy interesting vibe, not an immediate smash but a grower for sure. I prefer this TMC Latin remix of Sweetheart that's faster with a more breezy sultry instrumental that's perfect for her voice and the tropical feel of the song. It didn't top Billboard because they didn't do much with the song because it was a quick cover. Mariah was at her peak in '98 and too busy, so they opted for a cover over the original they planned.
