Imho, if your filming with your phone don't try and zoom in. do all that in post when your editing. film two shots a relatively wide shot of your character and a close up of your characters face. then when your editing you can make it look like a crash zoom effect by just using the transform effect on both clips to zoom in. hope this helps.

The new item is in the bottom right corner of the project panel or you can right click in the project panel scroll to New Item and you should see the adjustment layer pop up in a menu right next to it.

Can't seem to sort the speed out between the two key frames? I've tried moving them about but I've got more of a crap slow pan in rather than the crash, any ideas?

Have you tried bringing the first set and second set of keyframes closer together if you do that should speed up the zoom effect. if not try and increase the scale more on the last keyframe, the number distance between the scale keyframes is really what gets you the speed.

Hi, is it how it was done at 0:49 in kzbin.info/www/bejne/qZSupoqKdsdoZ7c ? I was told that it is actually 2 shots (wide and close up) that have been stitched together but it looks too perfect imho. I thought it was a single shot in very high definition (they have the budget for that...) that they could zoom in easily in post. Thank you

one frame? im guessing you mean one clip if so just split the clip in two by cutting the clip then add the adjustment layer above then follow the steps in the tutorial. for the sound effects you want download the free version of soundly pro or search for them it on youtube and download the the mp3 file. most of sound eefscts i use fo rmy films etc are free adobe has thousands of free sound effects in their library.

Its the keyframe button that looks like a timer clock next to the effect parameters. If you press it it allows you to set a keyframe.
