Matt has a degree in Music and plays drums and piano. His rhythm voice and percussion is great.

This was the middle of the second act. The lights went out on the main stage and the trio showed up on a small stage in the back of the arena. They sang a couple songs before Matt and Kevin joined them to do a short set on the small stage.

Hey Jerod! The part in the very beginning was actually Hedwig's Theme from Harry Potter. As a huge Potter fan, I was so confused and then excited when I heard that! And I'm pretty certain this is the last song of Kevin's bit in the middle of their set when everyone else is chilling in the back (although they sneak and watch him play sometimes, lol!).

Great reaction! It wasn't at the end of the show, it was in the middle of the show. You should check out 'Kevin and Matt sing-along' and 'Kevin and Matt classic rock medley' they do during their PTX summer tours, I recommend their performance in Syracuse, NY in 2023. It's really really fun!

When Sarah, Matt's wife, found out he had ordered a drum kit to be delivered to their home a few years ago, she was not exactly thrilled. Hopefully he can play on a drum set at home that is electronic and uses headphones.
