With all 4 pieces of armor on you, you have only a 24.01% probability of being hit. Or a 75.99% chance of negating all damage. That's still pretty good, but not 120% You have to do the probability of being hit which is: .7 per piece. Multiply all those .7s together to get the probability.

I think it works like this: the first armor piece has a 30% chance to block all the damage, the next armor piece has a 30% chance to block the remaining 70% chance, so another 21%, the third armor piece would block 30% of the 49% left, so another 14,7%, the last armor piece would block 30% of the 34,3% left, so 10,29%. If you add that up you have 30+21+14,7+10,29=75,99% chance to block all damage, I think

I really think any percentage chance should either stack in a way that, let's say 30% of 100 means you have 70 rolls of damage, then the next 30% is of that 70 rolls, or it should be you have multiple 30% checks rather than it stacking. That 100% damage block chance you speak of is busted, and this is why you should never mess with raw percentage too much. multiply it not add it.

an easy way of seeing what weapons are better than eachother in mods is by seeing which one has higher dps, which you can do easily by multiplying the attack damage times the attack speed, like for example, 7 attack damage and 3 attack speed is 21 dps, which is better than 8.5 damage and 2 speed, which is 17 dps, tho in some cases hard hitting weapons are better even if they don't have as much dps because sometimes the faster but weaker (in base damage) weapons don't do any damage at all against good armor, while heavy hitting weapons can do alot of damage through the armor, and also in some cases the weapons with lower dps might have special effects
