'The Set,' from Jerry Douglas, contains eleven tracks comprised of five new offerings and six songs that may already be familiar to his fans. Jerry has been performing since 2016 with Daniel Kimbro (bass), Christian Sedelmyer (fiddle), and Mike Seal (guitar), comprising the GRAMMY nominated Jerry Douglas Band. Through the history of the band, bits from Jerry’s catalog of tunes evolved into JDB standards, while material from each band member made its way into their set. Motivated by witnessing the joy the music delivers to his live audiences, Jerry Douglas has recorded and is bringing to you 'The Set.’

Sad and beautiful. Somehow apropos to the feeling of today. Also makes me think of Tanasi, the Cherokee town for which Tennessee is named, that is currently under Tellico Lake in Monroe County.
