I cannot believe that after all these decades you not only found & posted something from this Goodman era, but that you have something of this incredible high quality. Goodman is hands down my favorite musician on earth. No one has ever knocked him, the late Didier Lockwood, or Mr. Ponty off their pedestals and no one ever will. Guitarists, drummers, bass players, keyboardists.... great and even greater ones come along every week. Not so with the mighty violin in a fusion context. No young upstarts have ever, or will ever, pass these guys. And Goodman is the most imaginative among all of them.

Recordé que a este músico lo escuché hace unos años, 70 y algo, cuando dentro de esta corriente del jazz rock progresivo, compartió fama y figuración junto a otros talentos del violín como Jean Luc Ponty y Sugar Cane Harris. Gusto de este sonido que aún me transporta tal como lo hizo en esos años y felicito que lo hayan subido. Música que no morirá y permanecerá siempre en mi recuerdo.

Jerry Goodman, un excepcional musico con una extraordinaria banda que lo acompaña, Su armonías con mucha fuerza, sin duda rock progresivo, Goodman un tremendo aporte musical, lo vengo escuchando hace muchos años, lamento que se hayan equivocado con todos los nombres de los temas, pero es un detalle irrelevante pues su sonido es cerebral ......Gracias por compartir este notable archivo musical de Goodman ..........

Stunning! I have never been able to understand why he isn't all over the place! I saw him with the Mahavisnu Orchestra back in 1976 (I think.) I have been blown away by him ever since! What is going on that he has faded into obscurity? Please Jerry, more and more!

thanks for show this concert to the world . I have Jerry Goodman 3 CD's from that times (2 studio and one live) and I was listening it for long time. I am big fan of Jerry since his great violin in Mahavishnu Orchestra. Muchas gracias!

Thank you very much for uploading this! I have been a big fan of Jerry Goodman since 1991 and I've played his live album "It's Alive" thousands of times, but have never seen him and his band on video! Finally I get to watch his band mates, especially Bob Lizik on bass - that guy is awesome on the It's Alive album, recorded earlier in 1987. I had no idea he toured South America! 👍 The first song is "Going on 17", the second one is actually "Topanga Waltz" but incorrectly shown as "Too Cool" and the final one is "Heart's Highway".

Tío Sky Verde , hace tiempo que esta inactivo y no sabemos nada de ud, se extraña su contenido, espero que todo esté bien en su vida, que no haya ocurrido nada de que preocuparse, o simplemente este disfrutando de un receso y/o ocuparse de sus actividades cotidianas y que pronto lo tengamos de vuelta por acá. Que gran aporte, lo anduve buscando hace tiempo, de hecho se lo pedi a REC 13 y parece que cumplieron, porfa sube la segunda parte, yo traspasé mi VHS pero se ve pesimo pero suena muy bien, la segunda parte viene con los temas: Rockers, I hate you, Tears of joy y Perry Mason.

Muy divertido el vídeo. Todos los títulos de los temas están equivocados. Busquen el disco It's alive para saber cuáles son los títulos reales.. jajajajajaja
