Its been bad for 2 decades BUT. I appreciate Jerrys work in the early 90s. I was 19 and in the military. And my Cowboys were whooping everybody. I watched the 93 superbowl in the back of a Humvee in the desert on a tv watchman. With 10 other Marines. For about 4 years. I had bragging rights. I didnt know it then. But those were the best times of my life. If we dont ever win another. That will be too bad. But i lived to see my team be #1 for several years. I am thankful for that .

I love the Cowboys. They have a place in my heart that can't be moved. Jerry helped turn us into a dynasty. But it seems that he has always wanted the team to be talked about more than he wanted the team to win a Super Bowl. And it stings but my faith will not be broken and neither will any true Cowboy.
@ChugwaterFPS10 жыл бұрын
He can see passion in his eyes. People can say whatever they want about Jerry Jones as a general manager, but let me remind you the 3 Super Bowls couldn't been won without Jerry- the Herschel Walker trade brought a dynasty to Dallas. Second, people have to see that that's not just about football, this is a business too. You want to give your fans a show, not just football games. That's the reason why the Cowboys still one of the world's most valuable teams

To quote Randy Moss: "If you take the stars off those helmets, the Cowboys remain a very average team in the NFL." I can't think of any other team in any other sport that is as overhyped as the Dallas Cowboys. If the expression "It's all about the hype" is true, then definitely the Cowboys are the team!

His ONLY great footballing decision was bringing Jimmy in. Everything else has been built on the back of that decision and Jimmy's genius. Some 19 years after Jimmy's influence has finally been washed away and all fans are left with is the very essence of Jerry Jones, getting people hyped about things that ultimately fail to deliver.

@demetriusmiddleton12465 жыл бұрын
Any coach with a backbone is going to leave. Because of the end of the day, there's only so much a coach can do when the owner is obsessed with having all power and control. No coats with any kind of backbone or integrity it's going to put up with that for long.

You've got to give it to the guy, he's passionate and I guess seeing this I respect him a little bit more. But he's hurting the team so badly. I don't care if he owns the Cowboys, I just wish he'd give the GM job to somebody who knows what they're doing. Make no mistake, Dallas will not win another Super Bowl until this guy vacates the job.

Knows what they're doing? Within three years, he took a 3-13 team in '88 and turned them into back-to-back Super Bowl champions. They were a bigger crapshoot back then than now. He surely could do it again.

Jerry is the star, because that's how he wanted it, by hiring coaches who won't outshine him. He did not build the talent of those Super Bowl champions of the past. Jimmy Johnson built it. Jerry was the brains behind the business side, but he didn't like taking a back seat to a head coach who outshined him. That's why he won't win another Super Bowl, because isn't and never has been a good general manager. Sure as hell was never the best, either.

One thing Jerry has never learned that he's never learned is to teach the players and let them go my mother told me that when I was coaching they're not looking at the time that Tony Romo was their quarterback they were just mediocre team everybody forgets that Dak has improved them but stay off that young man and encourage him because he's all you got for now as quarterback and Jimmie Johnson ain't coming through the door kosher teaming you know so you don't have to do the best you can Jerry I don't dislike you I just wish you would just teach him and Let It Go sometime to coach can't say nothing the players of the ones that played the game and you got to let him play you got to let him find out in like Tom Landry said many years ago sometimes news and makes you stronger it does not always weaken you if you can't take the good times that bad times come but that's when you find out that you can get stronger and I just wish the best for the Cowboys I've always liked to but Jared you need to you need to pull back man and just let it and let them do what they have to do you got the talent quit telling everybody You Got Talent and just let the players play in and you are heading for Super Bowl if you just was stabbed back step back and let it go and you get MO Cowboys y'all on the verge of being a great team again but you know what your problem is your owner is meddling all in the cake

My concern is, if all lives matter ( and they do ). How come the NFL and all the players are not standing up and speaking out for all the lives ( babies ) that are being aborted/killed/murdered everyday? That child ( young person ) that was aborted/killed/murdered today may have grown up to be the commissioner of the NFL one day but was never given the chance. Speak up for the helpless baby living in their Mother's belly. America should be ashamed of it's self and so should we for allowing such an injustice to take place in our country.

We need a new GM and a new coach. Jerry hasn't brought the talent to win, and Jason can't teach the players with talent. Jason is a MUCH better offensive coordinator than he is a head coach. That showed this season when he and Romo led the highest scoring 4th quarter offense in NFL history. Jason needs to step down from head coach, or step away from OC. He's too young to be head coaching and calling plays all at once. We need Norv Turner back. You know, that guy who helped us win 3 Super Bowls.

Jesus doesn't see the color of a man's skin. He looks at the heart. Turn your eyes upon Jesus, give your heart to him. No one was, is or ever will be treated more unjustly then he was. Yet his love is so powerful that he forgives us of our sin and offers us life eternal. By grace through faith, faith in who he ( Jesus ) is and the work he did on the cross for us. The light of the glory of the gospel will change a man's heart and life ( that's the only way change happens ). The NFL has allowed their employees ( players, coaches, ) to disrespect authority. When an employee is allowed to dictate to the employer what they are going to do and how they are going to do it only bad things are going to happen. The NFL is going to lose out because of this protest stuff that they are allowing to take place during the employees time at work. All protest should be done outside of the workplace. Fans are going to get disgusted with all this that the NFL is allowing to take place and a lot of fans are going to stop being fans. Once that happens the NFL is going to lose a lot of money and many people are going to lose jobs, including the players who are protesting.

Poor ole cowboys , They most always draft crappy . One year of letting me pick for them and instant playoffs. He has to watch his team lose for the rest of his life. Look back at the draft and see they passed up a pro bowl player most every time. All that money wasted . I am not knocking the cowboys but I would say the coaches wanted to draft other players and he would not listen . But its his money .
