Jerry lee was a very spirt filled man, a great actor too, played the killer role to almost the end. I do not worry about Jerry's soul.

Amen. What a beautiful and wonderful Gospel message that GOD loves the sinner who repents and does not hold any wrong against us but welcomes us home with open arms. Hallelujah.

What is the song he has released with a funk beat. Can’t remember. He’s sooo much more than he’s ever received credit for. In his last years friends made a dent in showcasing his virtuosity both on piano and vocally. Quality never dies and neither will his music. This man has sung nearly the entire American songbook and most don’t realize it.

I suppose, what JLL recordet during his Caribou Session was better than all of his released Albums between 1979 and 1980. Think about THAT!!!

I agree 100%! Great vocals and piano playing. This material would have made a great gospel double album.

All 3 cousins should have concentrated on their God given talents in serious gospel music. Jimmy tried but Lust and sins of the flesh over came his efforts. Now people want to pray for Jerry Lee's soul, apparently they failed to get the memo too late after they have departed this world !!

Love the song, but I don't think the background picture is appropriate for the song. I know Jerry was a hell-raiser back in the day, but c'mon there's a better picture of him to put up that would fit the song better than this. Other than that, I've enjoyed listening to them over and over!

At first, I thought it was an odd photo for the song, too. But if you listen to the message of the song...you'll realize it's totally fitting. Despite our "hellraising," God loves and forgives us sinners...and calls us home.

Jerry never denied he was a sinner, he even promoted it essentially, but he believed deeply in God and Jesus Christ as his Savior. I think he genuinely repented at times but he was an impulsive man who acted on those impulses more than he necessarily wanted to. He was a driven, deeply energetic man who made some of the most beautiful music on earth. I have never witnessed a more naturally talented human being. RIP JLL. You brought so much joy to others, thank you.
