​@@t0nyc0nde Different actresses have different interpretations. And, Betty didn't do anything different here that she did in "Cats", "Sunset Boulevard", "Carrie", or even "Hello Dolly!". And, I do agree that it's much too slow. But, it's the legendary Betty Buckley. So, it can be acceptably overlooked.

@@jasonmatthews534 Even in the two Grey Garden documentaries from the early 70's, you only saw Big Eddie stand or walk once in over nearly 2 years of footage. I think the footage of her sitting at the table eating cake with company was the most time she was even out of the bed.

Have you NEVER seen "Carrie" from 1976? She flat out unabashedly puts all of her assets on display. And, she looks so hot that even this gay man got a bit aroused. And, she does the same thing when she joins the cast of "Eight Is Enough" during the second season.
