Thanks Jerry! Video suggestion - you talked about rifle recoil control, and how most people hold the rifle too tight, and how you need to find the balance. This was too brief, but very interesting. Could we get a longer deep dive video on this subject? Also, preferably you could demonstrate all this on a rifle without a competition muzzle brake on it? Thanks!!

I noticed that when I shoot one handed on pistol and grip too tightly, my hand will start shaking. So i back off a little to 70% tight

Caveat about ammo weight: make sure you take a look at your twist rate and your barrel length. 77gr-69gr tends to run well out of super long, or super short barrels. 16" barrel, 55-62gr is good to go

Stupid question, why did he need to pull the charging handle after loading the mag? Wasnt the bolt open already when the flag was in the chamber?

The bolt only stays open on empty mags and intentionally activating the bolt catch. When he pulled the bolt to open out the flag, the bolt closed and had when a mag was loaded the bolt had to be re-actuated

Habit. Some don't like to use the bolt release button. Alot of people, especially ex military, are drilled to pull back the charging handle and release.....I was told that's also how you clear a jamb, so it simplifies the manual of arms.
