I remember those days, the tabloids and comments. I always assumed Mr. O’Connell appreciated Ms. Romijn in ways that Stamos couldn’t. Emotionally or physically, he brought the goods. 17 years in a celebrity marriage is like 34 in “regular” years, and is no easy feat. Congratulations and hope to many more years ahead!

Mine and my wife's favorite character on stand by me was by far Jerry's character. Not only did he bring the plot he also had more genuine emotional scenes than any of the other characters. That being said we fell back in love with him on sliders. I'm currently watching the podcast now I don't know if there's been any mention made later in the pod, but that show was phenomenal! It's interesting Neil referred to Jerry as a touch stone. I can literally use Jerry's work as a touch stone for my life, to remember what was going on in my life at the time. Kangaroo Jack brings me right back to my parents living room. I can even remember the brand of the TV I watched it on, the furniture in the room, my sister's on the green couch with wooden legs, the glow of the yellow lights in the kitchen. It was right around the time my oldest sister was moving out. It was one of the biggest changes in my life. For the first time my entire family wouldn't be living under the same roof. But, all of sat there and watch that silly movie. It was enough to gather around, but not hold our attention from conversation.
