I remember when “Olomana” came out I was just starting high school in California. We spent that summer visiting OHANA on Oahu from Kaneohe to Ewa beach. Good fun!! Mahalo Unko Jerry fo da memories. Duke&Ohana.

I was signed up for the broadcast today of this plus an after ward interview with the man, himself, but when I tried to tune in, I got an echo just behind the broadcast so I had to give up the interview. I have to make do with this wonderful Na Mele broadcast. We love Jerry and have since we first heard Jerry & Haunani Apoliana and Wally Matsunaga back in 1980. There are lots of wonderful slack key artists & Jerry includes history which fills us with love & respect. Mahalo Na Mele & PBS Hawaii. Mahalo Nui Loa Jerry
