This video brought back memories of sitting in the right seat of my dad’s Piper Cherokee 140 flying to different FBO’s to get lunch. Wish I had finished my flight training. I see there is an aviation club in TV. Wonderful if being in my 60’s is too old to start over.

Wonderful video Jerry! Al is definitely a great pilot! I’ve flown in a Piper Arrow before. I’ve flown many times in a Piper Warrior II as well! I could tell in the last few minutes of the video that Albwas climbing higher in altitude because the Villages got smaller in scale! Glad you had a great lunch as well! One of your best videos yet … incredible perspective of the Villages from the air 😳 … even better than some of the drone videos. I recognized Mickylee immediately. ☝🏻Next time Al takes you up, have him fly by the next area the Villages will develop south of 470 towards Center Hill & Bushnell (the FUTURE expansion of the Villages). Even Gold Wingnut hasn’t really shown us that yet. I believe they have to “drain the swamp” first because I think much of it is under water today. p.s. When I was in college, we played Michigan City State Prison. That was quite an experience (and I had a pretty good game there) 😉

It's amazing how much preserved green space and marshland is within the Villages between all the development. You can't really appreciate that from the ground. I'd love for you to do another one of these showing my area up north including Spanish Springs, the Savannah center, Polo Club, Glenview cc and Lopez cc and go up as far as First Responders. That would be cool. 😊 much enjoyed!

We chose the Hammock At Fenney for the sheer beauty of that village. Nature all around you. Nature trails a fabulous Rec Center and Magnolia Plaza just 4 minutes away!

Don't forget that there are thousands and thousands of people working in and around the villages.

TMK, there are no schools in The Villages (TV) itself: They're in Middleton, one of the latest building projects TV has going on presently. Middleton is right next to TV but it's a planned community/development that was designed/built (construction is still in-progress, like "downtown" Middleton right across the street from the charter high school) for people/families who don't qualify (age-wise or other) to live in The Villages (TV) so most Middleton residents will be younger for sure. Also, if the parent(s) are working for TV (their Villages job/position qualifies them) their kids are eligible to go to the 3 charter schools there (elementary/middle/high). I'm sure Middleton will be growing so even more younger people will be living there -- and of course many of them will have kids -- so the schools near where their parents live/work is a huge plus for those families and with job/schools being closer to their homes, makes their lives easier. So that's what "the schools" are all about -- and Middleton as well. Yes, schools in a 55+ community DOES seem mysterious (incredibly!) at first, but looking further it makes plenty of sense. IMO, it was a brilliant concept on the part of TV to provide something like this for younger people and employees. 🙂 -- BR

Anyone flying the big 3 flags, to include skull and crossbones, Sioux, and of course , red, white and blue for you? On second thought there are chemicals I’m allergic to. Kind of a waste of land? 😢

If you ever try to leave youll lose everything. This is a con. Exit fees 200000. Refurb fee 160000. This is one elderly ladies experience. Its not just the villages. Many such places charge 35% exit fee. Its disgusting
