Mr Jerry , in elevation analysis the default rainbow color set red is the lowest elevation and purple is the highest , how can i set two color respectively represent high&low and other elevation color is gradient between them automatically.

Jerry do you have any hardware recommendations for large surfaces? I have a 500 acre site with 128MB surface created from LIDAR. Every time I orbit Civil3D freezes. Sometimes Civil3D will freeze from just panning. I upgrade my hardware to a 32 GB RAM and add a $600 video card and still have problems. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I know this is an old question but i deal with multiple square kilometer surveys in C3D daily. Do as Jerry says here and export the Lidar to a 5, 10, 20m grid DEM - whatever. Create a simple pad or road surface and calculate thr volume vs the survey - both unadulterated lidar and simplified DEM. If you get a
