I'm baffled and almost in tears with that rendition of pieces of my lifelong heroes of about 50 odd years, John Rebourn and also Bert Jansch. God only knows why it took me up to now to find Clive Caroll on the internet. What a hell of a fine and sophisticated musician. John Rebourn must have appreciated his guitar playing..

Always brilliant Clive and it's so obvious how you love your instrument and produce nothing but only exceptional music we as "so-called guitarists can only stagger along in the dust after you , amazing, stunning, can't think of anything else to say except thanks sincerely for showing what can be done on a bit of wood with 6 strings, ps I know they are classy instruments but its always the piper not the pipes!.

I had the pleasure of seeing Clive supporting Tommy Emmanuel in Salisbury some years ago. Just fantastic. He garnered a new fan that night and ever since. Thanks for sharing this concert

I wonder if performers such as Clive should bring a GoPro to mount on a stand. Though I really appreciate this video, if someone in front of me was waving an iPhone around for the full concert I'd want to trip him/her in the hallway at the intermission.

I wonder what makes you think it's an iPhone waving around. It's a Sony FDR-AX53 Handycam mostly laying on my lap. And i was in the front row with no one in front of me, so that I didn't need to raise my hand at any moment. Oh, and FWIW, I was one of the main organizers of the concert and had Clive's permission to film the whole thing. Thanks for your interest.

Way to set it straight! Remarkable video quality. Thank you, ! And definitely very cool that in the front row you were able to keep the device lis and out of sight.

Fylde - gorgeous instruments.

It looks more like Clive's newer Ralph Bown to me, not a Fylde. He has always favoured Bowns even though he now plays Renbourn's Martin quite a lot too.

Yes, Ralph Bown.

Bravo… ma non è facile suonare come Jhon Renbourn, impresa molto molto difficile.
