This is such a great find .... I've been looking for this since I first saw it in 1985. For me, that little run John Pizzarelli plays at 14:16 during "I Like Jersey Best" is worth the price of admission alone. Thank You for posting this!

E.... ti pare poco?? I miei sinceri complimenti c.castellano, italia ...... but what good, father and son, Buchy and John Pizzarelli, a truly exceptional "Unicum"., an emotion in the family !! But how good, really good, Excellent their performances as true "Big" of Jazz, of those of "Elite" that dot the "musical firmament". !! Two great artists, of "high depth", (rectius: two giants of jazz) who know, with refined elegance, to perform, arrange and interpret each piece proposed with flair, imagination and a lot of creativity. And then, they know how to do entertainment, they know with sympathy to dialogue, in symbiosis with the public, with their Fans, who are rhythmically involved in the "event" so much that they "peel their hands" with thunderous applause and do not even notice it !! You just have to listen to them with admiration, standing there "with your mouth open" !! And .... do you think it's cheap? My sincere congratulations c.castellano, italy

Gabriele, if you haven't already found it, I think you'd enjoy a 1981 New Jersey Public TV documentary on Tal Farlow that I posted. Unfortunately, it is blocked in some countries and was hacked-up somewhat by KZbin because of a copyright complaint. Nevertheless, what's left would be worth your while: kzbin.info/www/bejne/hGKcpp-Jd62Lhck

"Straighten Up and Fly Right" is a 1943 song written by Nat King Cole and Irving Mills; and, it was one of the first vocal hits for the King Cole Trio. The Andrews Sisters also had a hit record of it in 1944.
