Kim Byam is the Executive Director for Reach Out and Read New Jersey
Reach Out and Read's inaugural Honor Roll class has just been announced. The national nonprofit which focuses on early literacy and strengthening family bonds through shared reading, works with pediatricians to provide FREE books at well-child visits.
These partnerships, including NJ Senator M. Teresa Ruiz, have helped grow Reach Out and Read's footprint and advocated for government funding.
Kim joined Jim Monaghan to discuss the program and what is does to help foster reading here in New Jersey.
