It's pretty easy to make if you have a food processor or grinder...maybe even a blender would work only thing is homemade hummus doesn't last more than a day or two because it starts fermenting...hence the name "hummus" which is related to the Semitic root for "ferment"

@@ibnyahud I did not know that's what Hummus means, the closest I could think of is the Arab root (Ha Ma Sa) which means (roasted) even tho we don't roast anything in the whole processing of that food, , or maybe it came from the Syrian city of (Homs), which would make sense since it is mostly popular in the Levant.

When you come back to NYC, do a best taco place. I highly recommend luchadores tacos at the South Street Seaport and Los Tacos No 1 in Times Square. Best tacos I've ever had.
