I know I'm late to the party here, but Jesca Hoop is one of a kind. I love her uniqueness and 'weirdness' and what an incredible vocal range. I'm a big fan.

Agreed! If you can find it . . . . Nicole Eva Emery (one of the back up vocalists) and Mike Gleeson started a band named Lovebird back in 2009. I purchased one of their Cds and it quickly became one of my favorites. Couldn't get enough. They created a small following in Ventura where I saw them a couple times and even had a chance to sit down and have a beer with her boyfriend (at the time?) who was in another band. She joined us and both of them were very personable. High quality people. I just now looked and noticed she has a Lovebird page on facebook. And has since (2014) started a new band. Your comment has inspired me to drop in on Lovebird again and see what they have been up to in 2021. Thanks!
