Stainless steel doesn’t expand as much as any other metal does . So my teacher taught me !!! Could keep the valve train in better alignment . And no huge variant in lift .

@@JC-11111 at least Ford had the balls to put a flat plane crank into a production engine. We'll see how long this engine lasts anyway... my guess is it blows up on the first dyno pull and we never hear about it again.

I'm going to alert Crower that you're representing there product as being made by Jesel. You didn't know all premium rocker arms have been stainless steel for the last 40 years???? LOL

who are you?
@JC-111115 жыл бұрын
Alert crower? Lmfao! And what exactly does dry snitching get you? Exactly nothing. Except the reputation that you don't keep your mouth shut and will tell on anyone for anything, even when it's a mistake. Even when it benefits no one, including yourself. You understand what dry snitching is? It's telling something while receiving no compensation in return. Because snitching involves telling on someone as part of a deal to get one leniency, for example. Except when you tell on people and expect to receive nothing, it's called dry snitching. Only dumbfucks dry snitch. Only dumbfucks will put their reputation on the line for exactly NOTHING. LMFAO. DUMBFUCK.

And wtf does stainless have to do with whether they're from Crower or somewhere else 🤣🤣🤣 And I guess you don't understand that there are multiple displays in that area. Some with Crower stuff, as advertised with the signage you saw. And other using prototype Jesel rockers such as their EQUAL 8, 12K RPM SETUP and things. Come on, dude. Quit being an idiot.
@JC-111115 жыл бұрын
Crower didn't have a damn thing to do with Jesels 'Equal 8' project. You know what that is? It's the very first engine you saw on this video. That has NOTHING, ZILCH, ZERO, NADA, NOTHING to do the display that Crower had. Maybe if you weren't so busy trying to snitch on people for nothing in return, you'd realize how you've fucked up. So who are you? Are you even in this industry? Carl Hinkson? That you?

@@InternalCombustion looks like probably 'Johnson Machine' in Olympia, WA according to his single video on his channel. Not sure it's even a real machine shop. He might ought to stick to that and let the people who know what they're looking at do the "heavy lifting" so to speak. 🤣

Keyway lifters vs Tie Bar lifters?
@danieljames5875 Жыл бұрын
Key way lifters remove the tie bar that holds them together. The tibar is for keeping the rocker from twisting on a roller setup. With rollers on the end of the lifter that ride on the cam lobe they have to stay straight, if they turn in any direction the roller cannot roll correctly and it will destroy the Cam and the lifter itself. Key ways keep them straight eliminating the tie bar which in certain circumstances can hang up and cause the tie bar to break or push or pull the lifter towards or away from one another in the lifter bore during movement up-and-down. Key ways eliminate weight from the lifter and excess material required to attach the lifters. On flat tapit lifters they can turn freely in the hole and that is something you want those particular style to do to even out the wear. They have a ever so slight rounded hump on the friction surface. They ride slightly to one side of the the cam lobe and cant be swaped for other styles after ran without replacing both items. The last thing is the bushing style are replaceable after the bushing wires or is damaged. Normal blocks have to be honed or recut for oversize lifters if damaged.

i wonder why they still insit on building pushrod engines, they could make ohc designs to spin at whoever knows how many rpm and get better performance and efficiancy out of these engines. i guess it's because they wanna build engines close to the pro stock engines before the rule change?
@abes39253 жыл бұрын
Because they’re simpler, lighter, and most all are super compact. Have you seen a side by side comparison between a Ford Coyote and LS3? The Coyote is so much larger even tho it’s smaller displacement. Lastly the LS aftermarket industry is gigantic and Chevy is know for their pushrod SBC and it’s really the only thing that makes them unique among the big 3.

Explain to me how it makes any difference to your tires if you make 500HP at 5000RPM as opposed to 500HP at 7500RPM? Seriously, explain to me the difference
@doc70003 жыл бұрын
@@MasterKeyMagic Looking at this I am going to assume some things about this comparison in order to make it valid, the 5,000rpm engine is lets say 6.0L and the 7,500rpm engine is 5.0L. The 6.0L engine will make more average horsepower then the 5.0L engine making it faster on a road course, even if the 5.0L engine makes a bit more at peak it will still be down when it comes to average horsepower which is what matters. This is why the 7.0L C5R and C6R along with the 8.0L Viper GTSR dominated in racing and had to be BOP out of existence.
