Thanks for all of these. A cover is just another bands representation of a song that they wouldn't do if it didn't mean anything to them (mainstream PopTards aside). There is some excellent production, really well thought out adaptions from all of the artists. If people don't like it then jog right on, and as for kicking off at the person that has uploaded them, I think it is great that people share there music this way and people have the opportunity to communicate there thoughts in this way.

this song really transferred well to a pop song. i bet if they would have got some pop singer like lady gaga or brittany to cover one and release it as a single it would chart and people would never even know its a nirvana song. thank god dave grohl or krist would never let that happen

@Nirvaaanaa I liked some of them, though it seems you have a couple of them missing. And I wouldn't call them "hate comments", more like "dislike" comments. Either way, blame it on Spin Magazine. I didn't even realize this was happening until I read the August issue. Hopefully they'll put together an In Utero tribute sometime, I honestly believe that album would work better.

Ha, I just "hated" on that Drain You cover because the rhythm of the melody is changed and that bands who cover Nirvana often do this to make it sound different from the original. This one pretty much proves that it sounds so much better when they rather arrange the instruments differently instead of the melody.
