@@fundude365 MTG Goldfish represents a company in this case, not a casual player. $1700 of investment for a company is nothing. I do hope he makes more than this amount per sets with his videos. Free to play mode is made on the balance time/dollar. You want everything day 1, then you skewed it fully into the dollar part. Nothing wrong with that.

So In the match vs the green white enchantment deck when cgb top decked the ultimatum the whole time I’m screaming attack 1st with sad robot. The opponents let it in like 5 times in a row. I was thinking attack first and if they don’t block the ultimatum was lethal. Anywho great content I always look forward to my daily dose of Mtg. Here’s to 100k subscribers 🤙

As far as I know he occasionally runs off-color mana to throw off the opponent's reads on the contents of his deck. In the case of ketria triomes in this deck, however, I assume it's there because it hits two of his colors and adds the extra cycling

@@jonnymario771 I'd think Ugin is favored against Yorion decks typically, so I doubt they'll ban. I'd want to see the odds for Yorion post-sideboard bc a deck like this would be fine playing Hushbringer or even maybe epiphany or other counters which Yorion also isn't great with. Rogues/mill is part of the problem on this one imo

You know, instead of keruga the enigmatic etrata deck could use yorion to get more etb's, but then it's a 4/80 or 1/20 to get incarnation, and I hard mulligan to find it in the starting hand. Another card is 4 omen of the hunt. It was in Absurd Heroine's list and is the #1 best card for turn 3. Gotta hit that land 4 to get incarnation on curve.

I started playing this deck only to fulfill quests with red requirements, etc. But it's really fun now that I understand it better. Narset is somewhat of a mismatch for the deck because she only targets creatures and planeswalkers, and with so much removal in the deck she's often the only target when she's on the battlefield. And she likes to discard cards that would otherwise pulverize opponents while not managing their biggest creatures. She would be perfect if she could target players too. The deck is great at ramping while controlling opponents' creatures, so I took her out and put in Shark Typhoons. It's just more quality time with the big flying sharkies. But with Shark Typhoon the deck needs a bit more tuning. Also: I hated playing against Ugin because it's a jerky card that players put in their decks despite zero flavor match. It's a totally uncivilized card. Civilized blue players pound the snot out of their opponents late game with Dream Trawlers and Shark Typhoons after having given their opponents an illusion of a chance at survival. I still hate Ugin, but it's great for pumping the Dream Trawlers when opponents' haven't dealt with him for three or four turns, which really serves them right. Players who don't deal with 8 CMC planeswalkers within a couple turns of ETB deserve their miserable fate.

Keep plugging away and you’ll get there. I am also free to play and found doing the daily quests, spending gold on boosters and picking a deck you wish to complete is a good way to go. Lastly when it is time for a new set to come out board that gold and the rare/mythic tokens. Even if you make a slightly weaker version of a deck it won’t take that long. Good luck!
