Hi my lovelies, In this video I take you through using a brand new Jesmonite. This is new to me .. It is not new to the world.
This video is in collaboration with Polysil UK ...
www.polysil.co.uk/
Jesmonite AC730 is a Granite effect Jesmonite. It is so completely different to the AC100 but equally amazing ! Jesmonite AC730 has a longer work time and cures in around 4 hours. Jesmonite AC730 is also weatherproof, heatproof and can withstand outdoor temepratures from between -20 degrees all the way to 350 degrees. How insane is that ! totally excites me. The most exciting part for me is revealing the Granite effect of the AC730 when we ETCH the surface off. It is a fun process.
I hope you find the video helpful, useful and informative. Moulds used are linked down below please do consider subscribing if you have not already.

Your work is fantastic and really appreciated for all of us, newbies 😅 I just have a question, maybe you’ll have the answer. My AC730 hardens super fast, like from the mixing stage. It never becomes fluid enough to be able to pour it into the mould. I have to push it down with my hands and in 2 minutes it’s already hard. I follow the exact 5:1 ratio on a digital scale, but doesn’t seem to work. With AC100 I always get it right. With AC730 never! It’s frustrating 😭
@ClairesCraftyCorner
@ClairesCraftyCorner 2 жыл бұрын
Heyyyyy lovely, thank you so much ! I have absolutely no idea why that is happening I am so sorry ... I usually mix and pour within 5 mins still with the AC730 ... it has never gone hard like that for me .. it is possible you have a dodgy batch or one part is out of date ? I would definitely ask your supplier xx

@@scripcariuana Hi, I have similar experience. I usualy have quite good consistency after a few seconds of mixing but before I can pour everything it into the mold, it’s hard. And as you said I also have to use my hands to push it down. Demoulded after ten minutes and its all set. Do you have any answer from Jesmonite factory?
