#JesmoniteandEpoxyResin
Heyyyy my lovies . In this video, I am creating some Jesmonite and Epoxy Resin pendants or keyrings. I have not tried Epoxy and Jesmonite together in flat work. I did try some pots you may remember but they popped apart. Jesmonite and Epoxy Resin together is something I really want to push to see what I can create. My heart is taking me back down the Botanical route .. What do you think ? I hope you enjoy my Jesmonite and Epoxy video please don't forget to thumbs up if you like it and leave me a comment xx

I love the colours, I think the seepage is something that adds to it. (no I am not lying). I'd pop them on a cord or chain and wear with 80's pride. It's art, art isn't about perfection. it's about fun and loving what has been created. If you was to say tell me what is best I'd say more breakage/pieces the better. Can you imagine a bolt of lightning and then resin around it, it would look amazing. Thanks for another great video.

Yes Claire I would sand 😂😂😂 But if you poured the tiniest resin first then put the jes in you would cover the base in resin and would be a uniform amount underneath 😀 Then as long as you are careful and don’t over pour the tops would be the contrast 😀😀😀😀😀 Absolutely love the experiment hun 😀😀😀 Very bright colours too ❤️❤️❤️❤️ Happy belated Valentine’s 😍

Really interesting video 😀. I liked the extra depth from not sanding and the quirkiness of the irregular shaped bits. I'm sure they will look fab with some decals, as you mentioned 😀 I discovered that Hydroflow doesn't stick to resin as well. I made some dried flower coasters using Master Cast resin 😍 and decided that a Hydroflow backing would look good. And it did!! I liked the ceramic effect. However ..... A week later I started sanding the Hydroflow with wet sandpaper and realised water was seeping in between the layers. Closely followed by the Hydroflow just falling off and breaking apart a 🙄. I haven't got around to remaking the coasters yet, probably next week or so as all my heat pads are full up. I will be doing the Hydroflow backing first this time. Maybe that's something you might like to experiment with?? 😀

Lovely colours for Valentine's day! If I wanted to try the same I think I would make the jesmonite part thinner. Then coat the bottom with resin and let it get a bit tacky before putting back the jesmonite parts and filling the rest with more resin.

@@ClairesCraftyCorner The more I think of it I realise it would be very hard to get such a smooth surface as you had with these. One would probably have to make the jesmonite part thin enough to have a tiny bit of resin at the bottom to lock it in place and then enough room to cover it as well.

Hi Claire. They all look cool. I like the multiple pieces ( 2 pieces of Jesmonite, 1 resin) more as well. I don't mind the over spill. I'm thinking if you use more contrasting colors, it will look even better!. I hate sanding as well. You should try making a pendent with both liquids in a straw or cylinder.
