I realise it must be really hard to gauge, but what sort of cost per tray. I’m very slow to the “Jesmonite party” as I mainly just use resin or acrylic painting so I’m thinking of having a go! I’d like to experiment and make some funky stuff like plant pots for my new flat. Thanks Claire - I love it when an artist isn’t all serious about uniformed patterns etc … is this an expensive way of doing trays etc compared to resin? Was that just pigment at the start when you were flicking it all on? Any recommendations for the best Jesmonite? Some brands better, working time vary much? It looks pretty funky. Thanks to anyone who helps 👍🏼 x

Hello 👋🏽. I am getting my first Jesmonite kit today!!! And I'm bursting!!!!!! I have learned so much. Thank you for your time and effort with your videos! I love your personality too! When adding the pigment to the liquid part, did you just splash on the naked mold as just the liquid? Or you added the powder to the liquid mixed with pigments off camera before splashing on the naked mold? Thank you for your all your help

heyyyyy my lovely ... I am so sorry it has taken 2 days to reply. I was 8 days behind on comments but I am catching up slowly ... glad you found the answer lol xx Pigment can go in to the liquid first or in to the mixture after if you are looking for a dual shade or a marble it works either way xxx I hope you are loving the Jesmonite xxx

These are amazing, thanks for sharing. I have not had great luck in using Jesmonite because it sets before my colours are all ready. I will try and do the splash first then a other mix as I wasn't sure I can pour over jesmonite already in place. Question, I cannot find the sealant on your store front.

heyyyyy my lovely ... I would say get your colours ready mixed in the liquid before adding the powder xx This will give you more time ... Sadly the sealer is not available through my Storefront :( xx

Hello & congrats for your amazing job! I was wondering if you could help me out, i just started using jesmonite, trying to create some candle vessels. I purchased the ac100 along with its sealer (the transperant one). Do you think that the vase will be secure with this sealer or mabe it will soak up the wax when it melts? Thanks in regards!!

What is the color mixed with? Is it also Jesmonite, or just the pigment? Are there other types of sealers that work for Jesmonite? Thank you.

I love love love these Claire, I am so on board with being messy lol but this definitely works. Can I just ask having never used jasminite before...is jasminite different the eco resin or is it kinda the same thing? (Probably a stupid question lol) Loving your videos and love how passionate you are about creating them. X

I’m new to Jasmonite, I’ve been watching your videos and feel so inspired! What ratio do you mix the pigments up in? So if I were to do a similar design, what liquid is the pigment added to? Thank uou 💖
@ClairesCraftyCorner
@ClairesCraftyCorner 2 жыл бұрын
Heyyyyy lovely ... You can mix up to 2% pigment in to your jesmonite. 2% will give you a solid block colour. So I pretty much went with that in these ... I added the pigment to the Jesmonite AC100 liquid ... before adding powder. I don't always do this though. Its a good method to get the colour you want.

Hiya me again..😊 I don’t have pigments like you just acrylic paint & alcohol inks..what I’m wondering is can you use acrylic paint or alcohol ink instead of the pigments & if so - with the acrylic paint can I mix it water to make it more fluid or will the water create a reaction & not bond with the jesomite liquid & powder ? Or can you use pouring medium to mix with the acrylic paint to make it more fluid...I do have pigment powder so should I perhaps mix that with the a bit of the liquid to get the flow..Thanks again 😊

heyyyyy Vicki .. the colours wont mix so it will be fine xxx The quickest way to work out 2% of something is to work out what 1% is than double it .... 1% of 190 is 1.9 ........... 1% of 160 is 1.6 ... 1% of 300 is 3 ..... etc etc ..... then double that for 2% that you need x
