Jess and Tia: Zoom Meditations / Laura Dicken / Multistory

'Zoom Meditations…' is a series of three shorts made by Laura in collaboration with the young people of Sandwell. Each participant was invited to reflect on a word during a recorded zoom call. The participants also generously submitted their own artworks and photographs to be included in the shorts alongside found images.
Laura Dicken is an award winning visual artist based in the Black Country, England. She works nationally and internationally predominantly using analogue photography and photo montage to make collaborative work using a process built around meaningful connection, conversations and participation. Through her work Laura hopes to create opportunities for previously untold stories to be shared authentically, illuminating the shared human experience and celebrating the extraordinary ordinary.
