Back when ‘An Answer Could Be Found’ released we had Sirius radio and Octane (and even alt nation one time!!) used to play Familiar Realm. As an 8th grader getting dropped off at school, nothing made my day more than catching CKY on Sirius. 1:48

I really enjoyed this interview. I’m a big CKY fan from the IDR days. I met Jess and Matt Deis on the Carver City tour in Toronto outside a random restaurant near the venue they were playing that night (the opera house). Both super nice guys and I noticed them both as I was walking and was going to continue walking as I didn’t want to bother them but it was actually Jess that started talking to me because he noticed my Halloween Hellview shirt. We talked for a few minutes about random stuff. Like I said both super cool down to earth guys and didn’t act like rock stars.

The thing about Carver City with the drum replacement, the worst part is the sound wasn't really Jess's drums. Sound replacement can work, but it ruins the representation of the band when it's not at least the original drummer's kit that's sampled. I always felt Jess was strongest as a drummer on An Answer Can be Found.

Carver city is all fucked up (and it sucks because there’s cool Songs) it sounds like 3 guys playing 3 different songs and all Frankensteined together and the production is a thick and ….i duno if muddy is the word but I just can’t get into it ……I like the live versions of those songs better
