absolutely!!! i honestly dont even think they wouldve needed to do long distance - jess had to move out of lukes but he had money from working so much and i sincerely believe they couldve found somewhere else for him to stay in/near stars hollow if he had just explained and gotten help instead of permanently leaving town without telling anyone. for the huge amount that he loved her, he did an awful job making choices that reflected it.
