Hey guys! I know I've been fairly absence lately, I have been so busy I've hardly had any time for vidding :( But i'm back, and i'm hoping to post more regularly from now on (fingers crossed :/).
Sooo I started this video last June lol! It has just been sitting in my Sony Vegas almost fully completed all this time :') But my love for literati finally got me to complete it! Everything about their relationship makes me so happy and SO sad at the same time, I mean when they were together they were so perfect and when they weren't IT just sucked. I mean Jess always came at the wrong time with his you know displays of "I love yous" and "let's run away together" type stuff. I'M SO UPSET they didn't get more screen time in the revival

Their timing was never right. I think if they had a second chance and they were older like in the revival and Logan wasn't in the picture then it could work. I will always have a place in my heart for these two.

I found Jess a more compelling character than Rory the mc herself. Jess is a complex character and has been told over and over again that he won't ever account to anything of importance and that he's going to fail in life and yet he's the smartest person in any scene. Some people don't show their intelligence openly. Himself and Rory were complete opposites and I didn't like how she treated him (not that Jess didn't have faults as well)

I hate when people hate on Jess 😭 Yes he had his bad moments but I genuinely think he is the one who understood Rory the most, Dean was dreamy sure but he was a bit eh and don't get me started on Logan. After watching the revival and reflecting on Rory towards the end of Gilmore Girls I no longer want them to be together though, her character changed too much to be with Jess.

I was thinking of vidding this song for Rory/Jess because there were no good vids set to this song for them and it seemed like a crime because the song is just SO perfect for them. I'm so glad I waited though because my vid would not stand up to THIS. This is gorgeous and perfection. I didn't completely love 2:06/2:07 where she's on the bathroom floor crying over Logan for this vid, as I'm not sure I can see how it fits Rory/Jess the way maybe her crying after sleeping with Dean so soon after rejecting Jess' proposal to run away kinda maybe could be stretched to fit... And I start to wonder is it just supposed to be he wishes she didn't have to go through more heartache with other people? Or is it supposed to be taken out of context and just literally show her eyes full of tears without further meaning? XD And then I'm thinking too hard and not properly appreciating your amazing vid, I know, I know... All of your use of the revival is perfection too. This was emotional and gorgeous... Truly, a great vid!!

I don't get why everybody loves Jess. He treated her like dirt when they were dating. I agree that he understood her the most. They were into lots of the same things. But he treated her like dirt. He still would if the writers but them back together. But I believe they're better as friends. He doesn't treat her like dirt when he is her friend.
