I JUST FINISHED THE SHOW FOr the first time cause I'm super late... But damn now that I'm done I can fully say these two are it. No one was better with Rory in my opinion! This is freaking beautiful best vid of them I've seen yet. You never fail to amaze omg, all the parallels you found were perfect. And even after the revival, I still think they are endgame. Funny he had daddy abandonment issues he rebelled because of but worked threw. Now Rory has daddy issues she needs to work threw. Jess dated girls that treated him badly cause he had little self worth.... now Rory is doing so sleeping with married/engaged men. He had no direction until he did his thing, now Rory has no direction. These two are two of a kind if they like it or not, Jess is just ahead of her (and is waiting for her to catch up to him). ❤

I'm not even sure I have words for how much I love this. The song is beautiful and combined with my otp...it's magic. The beginning wretches me with the "I get to leave first" and showing all the times rory did leave first and the underused moments like the Shane line and the part about lorelai/jess. I always thought that finding true love was a legend. And sometimes I still ponder about it, and I will ever find it, or what it feels like. But Rory and Jess seem to always find their way through their dark and cloudy path, to each other. The love they share is true. And if only Jess was willing to open up completely to Rory, the story would have been different. But it also would change it so there isn’t any mystery. Jess walks away however many times he did in the show, but then walks back to his home (Rory) however many times, plus one. Rory will not wait for a guy, no she’s not like that. But do you know what she will wait for? True love, and her home. They are each other’s home, and each other’s true love. ❤️

Jess Mariano7 beautiful words, I also see so much symbolism in their relationship. They seem to be like two halves of the same apple, they seem to share some kind of platonic love in the sense that ideally it is perfect but in reality it struggles to overcome the flaws of their personalities and actions. I like to think that Jess's lingering look at Rory at the end of the revival suggests that the seed is still there and Rory might feel it grow back too at some point. To me she's the one who got lost the most and needs to find her way back home, as you said. Btw, have you found your true love yet? I hope you have/will :)

@@musyclaire I did but he left me.. 😭. I can relate to them.. when you find that one that's it. We have been divorced since 2009.. he remarried. He isn't happy.. I still go on everyday with my life. The chemistry between these two is real. Since they really dated.. who knows maybe they will end up together in real life and not just a TV show. That would be cool..

I love Lorelai, but I really hate that she never really gave Jess a chance. She stuck with Rory when she wanted to be with him, but she never got over her first bad impression of him. I think her disapproval did affect their relationship and make things a lot more complicated than they needed to be.
