jess knows he has a big mouth, that is why she lied about what the hex does. The hex doesnt allow her to pull people off and unleash the curse on the person who put them up on the block. It only allows her to stop the eviction. However, she lied to kevin about it, hoping it would get out and scare the other house guests into not putting her or cody up for the next 4 weeks.
