In real life you can tell a boss what's going on. If you were talking to a real.mob level boss like this you would get taken out. Plenty of people have told high level bosses problems they had in a calm respectful voice. You might get away with this talking to a small time street gang. Never can you talk to a cartel or mob boss like this. Doesnt matter if ur right it's about thinking you can talk down to him. So no it's not realistic.

I think Gus earned respect for Jesse after this moment. Gus began to consider jesse after walt killed the dealers for Jesse, because he couldn’t understand why walt would sacrifice so much for a junkie. However, Gus realized it was because jesse is loyal to his master

I don't wanna start a big fight, just elaborate. It wasn't just that Jesse was loyal, he was trusting. Walt fucked Jesse and stuck him with the shot jobs again and again, and whenever Walt came back, Jesse trusted him.

Bro Walt literally sacrificed his relationship with Gus by Saving Jesse, he could've let him get killed and everything would've been fine for him, he would've cooked peacefully for Gus until he gets enough money for his family. Also, he only told all of this to Gus because he didn't want Jesse to kill them as he thinks that Jesse isn't a killer, it's for him, he would gain nothing from this, it's just that he cared about him and didn't want him to kill.

@@monstar3626didn’t Walt sell out Jesse to jack? And instead of going for Jesse, he lets Jesse become a slave to jack and his crew for the next 6 months. Also Walt knew that Gus wasn’t there for Jesse. He knew that Gus was trying to get Jesse to kill Walt and he knew that Gus was a threat so he eliminated him too. Walt was only there for himself not for Jesse lmao
@MakeItGreasy
@MakeItGreasy Жыл бұрын
@@monstar3626Walt didn’t have any sorts of means to Gus. Walt was replaceable which is why he sought to find Jesse and have him as a puppet, rather than Walt. Also, Walt is very perceptive and smart, he wouldn’t allow himself to be manipulated by someone just because of his ego alone. That’s how Walt figured out Jesse was being used by Gus.
@monstar3626
@monstar3626 11 ай бұрын
@@MakeItGreasy he wanted Jack to kill Jesse, not make him a slave, he didn't know that they did that to him. He didn't want him to suffer, he literally asked jack to do it quick and painless as he sees him as family. He never wanted to kill Jesse in the first place, he literally got adviced to kill him by both Saul and skyler but he refused everytime. He only got a hit on him when he went to far, Walt just wanted to explain to him why he had to poison Brock, but Jesse thought Walt was going to harm him and Because of a stupid mistake (he thought Walt had a hitman with him) he started threatening him, so to defend himself and his family he hire Jack. What I was talking about in the comment, is when Walt sacrificed his relationship with Gus by running over and killing his dealers to save Jesse. He 100% did it for Jesse as he didn't want him to die. At this point Gus wasn't trying to make Jesse kill Walt yet, what are you talking about ? This is a S3 event not S4. Also, he only eleminated Gus when he threatened to kill Hank, Walt, and possibly his entire family. He cares about Jesse, you can't deny that. He literally sacrificed his own life to save him at the end by shielding him from the M60 bullets.

@robert48719 their biggest problem is they didn't know how to work together properly. Walt was to difficult to work with he was always minipulating Jesse and then never knew if he wanted to be in or out when cooking meth he struck the jackpot when working with gus and then messed that up for himself cause 1 he allowed Jesse to work with him and 2 he didn't know how to keep his ego in check so the second he started getting jealous of gus he didn't know how to handle himself

I never understood why gus cared for those two dealers so much to risk everything.
@fictionnerd78
@fictionnerd78 10 ай бұрын
I get why you say that, but the way I see it, it’s not about those two specific dealers, it’s about the fact that they’re murder draws WAY too much attention to Gus’s operation, attention that a cautious, OCD man like Gus has zero tolerance for especially when you consider that the death of his dealers tells the Cartel (And Eladio) that he’s an incompetent fool who can’t do his job. The way I see it, Gus’s care is out of an extreme desire to preserve his reputation and secrecy, which I think makes more than perfect sense and not only is more than narratively justified by his characterization, but fits in perfectly with Gus’s campaign against the Cartel and Salamancas. But that’s just my take. Still a more than fair point, so I’m glad people raise it.

@kamakazeyt Not at all or even close, he saw him more as a pawn. Like why would he all of a sudden have a soft spot for a "junkie" that he wanted to abandon. Like for example, why couldn't he used Walt to cook for the Cartel instead of Jessie?
@cdrealist9398

Gus knows it was wrong, he's just been desensitized to a point where he barely feels emotion, mostly sees through logical buisness perspective, and what's best for buisness is for them to make peace. They do make a point to show that he still has a moral compass, but it's repressed since the event. It might seem like he has respect but he's not much different than the people who killed his friend

Jesse is actually the hero of the story while Walt is the villain. Jesse goes through the heroes journey while Walt is probably the best example (and honestly the only example that comes to mind) of someone going through the villain’s journey He starts off neutral and somewhat flawed, and goes through a series of trials and tribulations. Whereas most people in stories will end up becoming a better, more heroic person, Walt becomes worse.
