Well, Tex-Mex music uses a mix of instruments used in Mexican and Texas/Western music, but it is only kind of country music.

Holy cow I was going to try to email or message Jesse Daniel on twitter or something asking where I could find this song, he performed this in Flagstaff Arizona at the Colter Wall show a few months ago. It was the highlight of the night, It was just freaking amazing, I even told my brother on the way home that it was my favorite of the night. He didn't have a band, I kinda prefer it without the band to be honest, but this was good too.

Yip think this guy ijessie is really really good have his album really like it but this song is very like Kenny Rodgers the gambler I know its really hard to write a song that doesn't sound like another song especially when u have a story to tell and a melody riff going on in your head .I also noticed a couple of other songs on the album with other similarities but hey ho good luck to him/ he's a really good song writer 👍👏 there really something new in the country scene and sound country especially when we're getting all these Hank Williams and Johnny cash tribute bands coming through another one to mind that people seem to be going daft for but I don't really know why is this harmonica Sam yes nothing new at all there it's all buck Owens and Wynn Stewart material and exactly same pedal steel riffs in some of his tracks the steel player is really good tho 👏👏 the thing I really like about this guy Jessie and his band apart from those similarities. In some songs There just a breath of fresh air from this to these talent TV shows not saying in any way some are not good singers on them but these guys have to travel round the club's pubs and bars to get known I've been there so good luck and all best and keep playing when you can and hurry up with the next album lol 👍👏👏👏👏👏👏👏🏴🇺🇸🥃

Do any of these cats featured on this channel do anything other than completely ripping off really old music and musicians? Art by nature is progressive and I’m sure in some ways these musicians are being progressive but this whole image being pushed on this channel is so stale and forced. Being that way is all well and fine but reading the comments that heap so much praise is just too much. Lazy consumers like lazy products I guess...

These fine musicians honour the music in the most brilliant way. They produce true art. Respect to them for producing great songs! I hear you on evolution. That said, I’ve heard some of it , and I prefer what these cats are laying down. :)
