Josef Hautala Not the same obsessed Pitt hater again! All the shit you say is just your opinion and nothing more. You'll have to get used to the fact that the majority of cinema lovers consider Pitt to be a great actor. His performances in films like 12 Monkeys, Babel, Snatch, Fight Club, Moneyball, Tree Of Life etc. have been hailed by both audience and critics. It is a fact. Period. "Guy Pearce could have played this role a thousand times better than Pitt" "Pitt was just playing himself in Fight Club" HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH spot on, idiot! The most ridiculous comment I've read in a while. As for Guy Pearce, who the fuck cares anyway? You are an obsessed fool!
@evageliapanagiotopoulos137010 жыл бұрын
Josef Hautala omg what a weirdo! pitt is amazing and nailed that role. you are ignorant about cinema, otherwise you wouldn't negatively judge his performance here. and saying he was just ok in fight club makes your comment even more laughable. he was exceptional in fight club and stole every scene he was in. saying that he played himself in that movie can't help but make me laugh. there's no fight club without tyler durden and no tyler durden without pitt. compare this to his recent great performances (ex. this year's "fury") and you'll realise that the characters he portrays can be different in every aspect. such versatility! as anthony hopkins said, "a great character actor". 3-time oscar nominee and golden globe winner. perhaps you believe your opinion counts more than experienced actors', critics and objective cinemagoers', but the truth is that you are an ignorant asshole and nothing more. go back to your cave, freak.
@marlyk597310 жыл бұрын
Josef Hautala Oh, shut up, will you? It's not that Freeman or Pitt are bad actors. Actually, according to the majority of critics and film lovers, they are great. It's just that you are driven by obsessions who deprive you of the ability to appreciate good acting. You are bitching about Pitt in every youtube video. Ok, we got it, you are in love with Pearce and you consider him to be better than DDL. Let me tell you something; only a clueless fool would think this way. Every good actor has his own unique style. Comparing good actors is impossible. We can only assume one's style is more appropriate for a certain role. Pitt has given a unique touch to his successful portayals of Jeffrey Goines, Tylen Durden, Mickey O'Neil, Mr. O'Brien, Billy Beane etc, as any other good actor/artist has done in his own work. Every great performance is beautiful in all it's uniqueness. You don't like an acclaimed actor and believe he is garbage? That's alright, but it's just your opinion; a fool's opinion, if you ask me. Don't present your personal opinion as the objective truth, otherwise you'll never be respected.

Can't believe they all fell for the classic sudden knife to the throat prank
@justinbgr3 жыл бұрын
This is such a great scene. The surprise knife to the throat, followed by Jesse's accusation half spoken; and then the implication that he's just giving Bob a hard time, like always. And then there's everything Bob and Charlie do after this: Charlie first being reticent to cut the tension with a story at Bob's expense, instead engaging in a half-hearted chuckle, seemingly finding himself miscast as the dumb yet unduplicitous and loyal peace maker that he has been throughout the film. Jesse flashes a look from Charlie to Bob as Charlie seems for the first time to be unsure which of the two to take his cue from. Then there's Bob with surpised anger at Jesse for his action, followed by a seemingly new ability to let things go and a new-found interest in the reaction of his brother. Bob doesn't unashamedly chastise Jesse for failing to live up to a hero in some narrative. He doesn't fiercely and with young bravado seek to correct the accusations and assault on his character spoken by Jesse, desperate to prove himself to his hero yet again. When Charlie and Bob both react with uneasy laughter instead of olive branches and indignation, Jesse knows they've betrayed him before Dick Liddel even makes the paper.

This is the scene where the movie confirmed Jesse knew they want to kill him. But I think he knew even before he put the knife to Bob's throat, I think he knew even before he yelled at the Fords for going off alone to the field, I think he knew it the moment they left the shop Bob worked at. The way he looked at them as he sat and started to leave on his horse...yeah, he knew. He knew even before Charley did, Bob gave it away IMO. He probably suspected it was going this way even on the lake where Charley was convincing him to take Bob with them. I took it that these scenes meant he was resigned to his fate, he knew his time was up, he knew he couldn't run forever. It was either a gun fight, a prison or gallows, or a sneaky assassination. And I think he chose the latter, because it spared him the humiliation of being arrested and powerless and because he was sort of scheming to make his assassins look like wimps. He wasn't going to give them the satisfaction of looking bad ass in killing him. That's also why he gave Bob the nice gun as a present, so he looks like an extra piece of shit and so he is ridden by guilt and public contempt afterwards. I think Jesse knew these guys are not true killers, that if they killed him, it would haunt them. I think that's why he played with them like this, so they knew he isn't some moron, he isn't an easy target, so they understand, even after the fact, he could've killed them at any time if he wanted to. It's as if he was saying "you dumb mfers, you think I'm going to go that easy?" He intimidated them so much, in the end, he pretty much had to babysit them into murdering him, completely surrendering himself. The whole final hour was Jesse pretty much accepting his death on the hands of these two, or accepting his death on the hands of Bob because he probably figured he is the sneaky one, that Charley was full of shit, but he was kind of earnest in his bullshitting, he was simply a selfish, goofy prick. Bob on the other hand was a snake, acting all innocent, or friendly, but he clearly had a lot of jealousy and issues on the inside.

Brad Pitt is a rare type of actor. As he actually fits into any role he is put into. I think him and Jack Nicholson are the 2 best actors of all time. I remember when Pitt first started and he was against it from the majority of the male population(Well at least from the U.K). I'd hear grown ups say he will be big just because he looks good. Then he did Fight Club which made us take notice. Then he did snatch and the rest is history. Every film he has been in he has killed it. And is actually loved from the males (not in a homosexual way lol) just as much as the ladies.

Great scene and amazing subtext but I absolutely laugh every time he says “That done ruined my day!” I say that shit so much my friends and family are pretty over it.

I've said this before it's Sam that steals this movie. Everything he does he goes thru every human emotion

Sam Rockwell is a master of his trade. I felt the most tension in this scene because of his genius.

Just left the house in St. Joseph, MO. The room is not that big, but everything else is about the way it happened.
