But then he met becky and you could tell she wasn't attracted to him at first and maybe thats why jesse liked her even more. Throughout the whole show you can tell how much he loved her even when he was about to marry her he was so eager to do so even if she called it off he cried because he was heart broken aw.

It is, unfortunately, a VERY common things these days in upper crust schools. Rich people are just expected to throw money out to even get a level playing field with all the other rich people. I view this as about on the same moral level (not legal) as lobbying a politician with weekend getaways and "meetings" in exotic locations. The only difference is that politicians made what they do legal.
