I really like how Jesse doesn't even try to be or do anything "over the top" so other people will like him. Very honest.

So many of us are real people and it doesn't get noticed in our videos. Thank you for sharing.
@PlatypusRising5510 жыл бұрын
We are all real people. What does that even mean? Other KZbinrs aren't real people? What are they animated characters? A person's job or financial status isn't what makes them real, it's the fact that the are not fictional that makes them real.
@JCRich00110 жыл бұрын
***** I don't think that is exactly what they meant. I see what you are saying. Their word choice was a bit poor, but many KZbinrs have very different lifestyles than most people, which is perfectly fine and I wish each of them the best. I think the person was just trying to tell Jesse that they appreciate his video and that Jesse shouldn't be worried about the content of his videos and feel like he has to provide anything that he doesn't have or do in his normal day.
@dashric10 жыл бұрын
JCRich001 that is exactly what I meant, my colloquial speech of the Pacific northwest probably bungled something up in translation. I know sometimes my own videos just are blah and I am not ON for the camera and I know I personally feel bad about those videos so it's nice too see other's feel the same way.
@tallguy80410 жыл бұрын
thanks for sharing... I do wish you would have shared what you do at work with us. I understand that you might not want to include your coworkers in the videos but it would actually be interesting to see what you do at work because there are people like me that don't know a lot about the steel fabrication industry and we love to learn new things. This hard work that you are doing now will shape you in ways you can't imagine. But thank you for sharing all that you do share with us. It is making a difference.

I don't think you have anything to explain away about your DITL. I bet there are 100ks of gay men in the US and CA who have blue collar jobs and have a similar weekday routine. I think your being out and proud means a lot to them and gives them a good boost of confidence. You are a positive role model for other gay men like you, even if the average "WeHo" subscriber won't acknowledge your life and thinks you should abandon it and move to LA. ;) Keep up the good work.
@PlatypusRising5510 жыл бұрын
The average WeHo subscriber is not a professional KZbinr so I doubt they have an opinion n the lives of KZbinrs. KZbinrs who want to make a career out of making KZbin videos move to LA because there is a huge, supportive KZbinr community in LA and facilities to help KZbinrs make collabs and make their channels more successful. MOST KZbinrs who don't want to be KZbinrs full time have a full time job like Jesse. All of the gay men that I know who work in blue collar jobs don't need a boost of confidence since they are grown men who love what they do and they aren't trying to be KZbinrs. I think Jesse would be a good role model whether he was a welder, hair dresser or school teacher. It's not the job that makes him a role model it's his personality and how he carries himself. He would be the same person no matter what he did for a living.

No it is low, but I'm sure in time he will have better video equipment with better mics. Humble beginnings and all that.

Thanks for sharing! You're day not be as out there and exciting as other people, but I found it refreshing! It was a lot different from a lot of the vlogs/DITLOs I usually watch! Don't feel bad! Just keep it real and keep it honest! That is what most people want on KZbin! You just do you booboo!
@spadrine10 жыл бұрын
Yep, this was exactly what I expected it to be. Pretty much how most of our lives are. I can say mine is even more boring, since I haven't joined a gym yet, but it's pretty much the same except I work in an office. Weekend comes and I spend half of it trying to recover from the week, lol!
@ericbryce210 жыл бұрын
Jessie I would watch your videos no matter what the content because I'm a long time subscriber, I like you and your channel, and I hope to see more from you in the future. Like all successful You Tubers you ought to seriously think about eventually moving to L.A.
