toscodav, knowing that many officers out there commit crimes they get away with and so many incidents framing people and planting evidence I think it’s perfectly fine to criticize police and demand they be held accountable for their actions. They are not above the law and if anything they should be held to a much higher standard than average citizens and if they can’t or won’t weed out their own scumbag elements then we’ll have to do it for them. And I don’t want to defund the police, I simply want to demilitarize them and take away the armored vehicles from small towns that have absolutely no need for them. Regular police officers should not look or act like soldiers at war, unless of course you think the government should be at war with its own citizens.

Jesse never laughs much, he gives you very honest matter of fact answers with very little change in his facial expressions. His laughs or attempts are very subtle and purpose driven, never exaggerated. His laugh often times was just a "huh" in response to Vince McMahon. When he worked with Gorilla Monsoon his mannerisms were a little different like he sort of respected Monsoon in his character as a heel and Monsoon the face or good guy. With Vince he sort of thought and made the fans think that Vince the good guy was also wimpy with the perception that it ever became violent at the desk as part of the show he would bully Vince. Classic Vince and Jesse was the Dino Bravo bench press segment at the first ever Royal Rumble event. "I think Jesse helped him, I don't think he did it." "Are you challenging my integrity McMahon?" "First of all a man of your statcher knows nothing about weight lifting." Too funny, the entire arena and television saw Jesse grab the bar. Too funny. For Monsoon, his best sidekick on the mic was Bobby Heenan, no doubt. Heenan had an answer for everything no matter how completely ridiculous it was or appeared to be. Again, too funny. For Heenan to be often times so ridiculous and sound so ignorant in what he would say and his goofy expressions yet he was always referred to as "The Brain." Which represents or was intended to mean he was smart/intelligent. Like "Mean Gene" who always appeared like he never had a bad word to say about anything or anyone. He gets the nickname though originally from Ventura of "Mean Gene Okerlund." The complete opposite of that in his mannerisms and performance. RIP Gene! Gene even had a burger named after him. Thanks Gene, thanks Jesse Ventura. Jesse's best classic calls were of a wrestler so much advertised just like Jesse was in his cocky arrogance, Jesse called it confidence with this guy LOL!!! I am referring to Ravishing Ric Rude. Rude referred to announcers as "Little man." Funny along with Rude's posing, and twisting, blowing kisses, even posing and blowing kisses to cameras was the way he, after being so raveshly introduced by usually Howard Finkel, he would push Finkel to the side where he could have complete occupancy of the center of that ring. At the first Royal Rumble event that opening match he had with Steamboat was another classic. Steamboat was quicker, dragging Rude all around the ring. Quick rake of the eyes or as Jesse would say "Nah, that's that thumb to the eye part I was telling you about, McMahon". Too funny but Rude, even at seemingly his most vulnerability in that ring he would still stop to pose. Jesse, "he reminds me of me." The winner of the Jesse the Body Award as the only nomination. McMahon quickly pointed that out to Jesse that he did all the nominations and Jesse simply replied to Vince "that's true." I am still laughing. What else would Jesse say? Do many memories that brought laughter and entertainment to so many and many were just off the cuff, likely unscripted, sarcastic short comments of just a few words. Steamboat was a great athlete like Randy Savage so they meshed so well in speed and ability. Rude, one quick eye rake, a pose and flex, the fans are eating out of his hands. Then the test of strength and Rude eventually in phenomenal shape and muscular build wins that after his struggles with the smaller in statcher Steamboat, Jesse says, "you see those muscles are not cosmetic." Jesse's most famous move inside the ring apparently was that thumb to the eye he described to McMahon. Jesse followed that up to Vince with, if not his best comment, certainly a top give for sure so classic, "why use muscle if you can use technique?" Okay thanks for a swing down memory lane. Only other thing I see will say, Bobby The Brain and Gorilla Monsoon, rivals to what appeared to be a humorous and bitter nonstop end, Heenan would say he was the host of prime time and if he got left by himself he made sure the home viewing audience saw him peeking at Monsoon's cue cards, all so funny, I stop to shed a tear, these too were the closest of friends off screen.

JV can really keep my interest. I still remember him as the East-West Connection with Adrian Adonis. He brings back a lot of great AWA memories. Thanks Jessie!

I'm surprised he didn't mention the time that the black helicopters sprayed him with chemtrailz and the CIA spied on him via remote viewing! That seems way more scary.

Jessee Ventura commentary was magic. Ventura, Lawler and Heenan are my favorites

Jesse Ventura was a great heel color commentator, but he wasn't the first! Roddy Piper started doing that in Georgia back in 1981!

Jesse Ventura never made money off being a Navy SEAL like some of these other guys. He made money from wrestling.
@vcbuilder55414 жыл бұрын
Music Universe nobody makes money as a seal , ranger or any other service , we get paid our salary and that’s it . Some write books or get paid for appearances or book writing .

Mike Brown I think that’s what he ment, making money off the back of being a SEAL

@@vcbuilder5541 I am referring to using your military status to make money in retirement. Another pro wrestler verified by Don Shipley was a former UDT Frogman and he never bragged about it when he was a wrestler.

Ventura made money from acting, Wrestling, being involved in politics including being a Mayor in Brooklyn Park, Minnesota and the States Governor along with his autobiography “I ain’t got time to bleed”

Jesse is so earthy and non-pretentious...he has to be a Buddhist Monk way down inside. I'm in AWE just hearing him talk and tell his stories.
