crazy how much effort goes into such a small part of what you do day to day

i know we recently just talked for over an hour about how much i adore your editing style and rhythm, but i would be a gigantic liar if i didn't say how much i enjoyed this just raw and casual BTS edit. So good Jesse and team (:

It is fun to watch you guys work and solve problems. I'm a programmer by trade and what the first day reminded me of are days when I over-engineer a solution: "It was just a simple component, why did it take me two days?" Probably an occupational hazard for anyone in creative pursuits after years of experience and problem solving.

I loved that couch on The Wire. Also I really love these kind of behind the scenes videos. And I like leaving comments to help with the algorithm.

I admire your humility Jesse, giving us an unfiltered look like this is not easy, showing us your mistakes, and how you navigate your mistakes is so valuable. And how you don't let yourself give up and feel defeated by them, rather you push through and achieve your goal. Good job.

Wow, this behind-the-scenes glimpse into your creative process is truly enlightening! It's amazing to see the attention to detail and the amount of thought and energy you put into creating good lighting. I can only imagine how much time and effort goes into making your KZbin videos. Kudos to you, Jesse! And I have to mention, your Peter Parker vibes at 18:55 are on point! Thanks for being so humble and sharing your journey with us. It's incredible to see how you navigate through mistakes and never give up. Keep up the great work!

I come for the educational content. I stay for the huge entertainment factor. 😅😅😅 Seriously, I just enjoy the 'randomness' of your channel.

Holy moly man I had no idea ... the amount of thought and energy it takes to create good lighting is craziness ..It must take forever to make a 10 minute youtube video. Nevermind a feature length movie ...yikes

Hey Jesse, i am curious how long did it take to collect all the equipment ? All the lights, holders, clamp etc. haven’t you been thinking of making a video about how you started and built the position where you are now? ❤
@JesseDriftwood2 ай бұрын
I actually don’t own nearly as much gear as seen here! I work in a shared filmmaking studio with several other filmmakers who also own their own gear. However I have been working in film since 2010, so I’ve slowly collected random pieces that have lasted through the years.
