After playing TD consistently since 2019, I finally put it down a few weeks ago. Fire is just too strong. That being said I took it so much farther than ppl realize. Chaos angel saves that deck. I spam it as much as jaden spammed neos. From solar & bystial to solar/roar/token, vanilla TD and TDdark. So many ways. And between BBeast / regained with hours package for removal and recycling. I was impressed how high the ceiling actually was

deck is hella fun right now. I got 2nd place in a recent case tournament running a 50 card version in tcg with a horus engine and the fusion trishula. Went against 6 people on the fiendsmith engine only losing to 1 of them and the dude was a ycs champ.

I've been playing TD for the past few months, since they had the pure TD deck featured in that event, and I've been loving it. I was playing a version similar to this and moved on to a more pure version, but seeing the way you play it was AWESOME. I'm going to incorporate some more of the dragon strategy back in. You can play Thunder Dragon with Tearlament and Lightsworm. This is how it works: - Lightsworm's engine is used just to send cards from the deck to GY and to have level 4s. - The Tearlament engine will benefit from Lightsworm cards. - Fairy tale snow, when it's in the GY it helps to send TD cards to the banishment zone to activate their effects. (Because snow is limited you can play a small package of Bystial cards ) Note: you can play the Horus engine for more consistency.

Far be it from me to disagree with the world champ; however, I feel like this kinda build is way to combo oriented. I feel Thunder, nowadays anyway, in Master Duel plays better in a Mid-range sort of build alongside Horus & the Bystials. The dragon & Chaos stuff feels super greedy. Either way, it's great when the deck gets attention. I think it's a really solid option right now in both TCG & MD. Edit: and your comment about comparing it to Fiendsmith. I agree. I, personally, think the issue in this deck is in the set-up. Similar to what you experienced in game 1. Not to compare that 1:1 though, because obviously that player didn't play ideally. Your off roads to say Colossus pass are more convoluted in this build. While it has a high ceiling, certainly, it also has a glaring weakness to Maxx C & Fuwalos - if those cards were shotgunned in standby, ideally. You can't as easily get out from under those cards without giving the opponent as many draws as a normal summoned Batteryman Solar converting in Colossus would versus relying on the special, tribute, then specialing Colossus. Just my observation though. I do agree Thunder's strength is in its incredible grind game. No doubt.

Aw man, thunder dragon is really cool. A shame that Colossus is the way it is, otherwise I'm pretty sure that the archetype not only would be more beloved, but it would've been received another wave of support. I wish the deck was good as a "pure"/midrange deck, because I'm not a big combo player.

Man looking at that decklist thunder dragon is certainly not a cheap deck. Reminds me of the old Halq UR pile decks that were rampant till Halq ban. There's a grand total of 5 cards in that list below SR. My taste in deck themes is like my taste in music (classical and Heavy Metal) very clashing I would like to see a Dark Lords, Evil Eye, Melffys (a proper one not Sam's version of a Melffy deck that includes 3 total Melffys, or Vernusylph decklist

I know most grvekeeper deck are built as stun decks, but I love the art and it has been my favorite arch-type since... well I think it was kind of one of the first arch-types in yugioh. So like, since forever. If you could make Gravekeeper meta, but NOT use lame generic flood gates, I would love to see your take on it. Maybe mixing it somehow with a deck that is not reliant on the GY somehow?

I mean...Gravekeepers theme is literally floodgating. Heck, their critical field spell is literally a floodgate, and Stele (i think is this one) hand rips monsters. If nothing else, there is no way Gravekeepers could compete, variations or pure, against modern decks without floodgates to slow them down to put them on equal footing.

Branded often gets underestimated by players who favor the tier 1 decks, and it is going to get a boost with upcoming banlist in Master Duel. I made it to stage 2 of the Duelist Cup with my own Branded deck. It was quite satisfying having the deciding match to get me there being a victory against a Tenpai player. Its strength is its versitility and splashability with various other archetypes.
