Crystron has a number of lines that play extremely well under both Droll and Nibiru! Hands that start with Crystron Inclusion or Crystron Sulfefnir or open Crystron Sulfador can play into Droll, while still ending on three to four interruptions! Most hands can play into Nibiru by threatening Cyber Dragon Infinity, while holding up the effect of Crystron Tristaros to quick synchro into Samurai Destroyer to summon back a monster, while still having a revive with Crystron Inclusion and Crystron Sulfefnir, which often allows them to end on three interruptions despite the opponent having Nibiru! I have combo guides posted showcasing these exact lines and many others if anyone is interested!

For crystron just ash tristaros. They go from FA dragster+ infinity + trap + synchro into the 9, to just FA dragster and trap. Easy wins

As a long time ogdoadic player, the single best counter to ogdoadic/mitsu are board breakers, more specifically, nibiru. Oh, if you don't discard a card then nibu is negated? Discard nibu itself. It still tributes the entire field, but now doesn't spawn a token. This can be even better than if you did summon a token as the ogdoadic engine can easily recover with nothing in hand, anything in their monster zone, and keurse+nay in grave. Ogdoadic has only 1, just 1 card that can recover during the opponents turn (nephilabyss). Also, like dimension shifter, dimensional fissure, and necrovalley absolutely gut ogdoadic/mitsu. Since the "new" ogdoadic support, a lot of players have been running lamia to stop cosmic slicer from getting destroyed. But it does not protect from tribute. Use nib to break the field, then proceed to full combo and take out the ogdoadic/mitsu player before they get another turn to easily recover and re-establish their board. You will lose against ogdoadic/mitsu in a war of attrition.

Any of these that have monster cards with 1000 or less Atk as key combo pieces fall foul of Chain Disappearance. Blue Eyes especially. Every eyes of blue tuner, stone tuner and maiden of white falls into this Atk stat category and if you trap trick, tracks or Labrynth you can get this trap out reasonably quickly enough to deal with them. Hit the right card and you can wipe out a play set of 1 card combos. Chain Disappearance doesn't just banish the monster it targets, it banishes EVERY monster with that name in the opponent's hand and deck.

Crystron, all you need is Nibiru because without Baronne, they are getting a Nibiru token for their hard work. Blue-Eyes is cool when it don't Brick and Mitsiurgi pure is cool, but with Ryzeal is great.

Blues has the same weakness it did when it won worlds over a decade ago. Limited summoning power and any card that cut they atk . I feel like one of three things will happen on next ban list. Ame No Murakumo No Mitsurugi will get banned eventually cus that card does wayyyyy too much, the fact that the materials can be sent from the deck to the grave is already ridiculous enough but the monster itself not only brings itself back, acts as a potential negate, searches a card after being tributed and is a frkn board breaker on top of all that. Like no... Idk what Konami was thinking when they made this card but we're not talking about it cus we all know Konami will ban this card for a while. So! That said either A. Primte Drillbeam will get banned, B. Mitsurugi Great Purification will get banned, or C. Nothing will get banned and we gotta deal with these cards for the next few months to a year...

Im not sure if druiswurm stops ame from coming back when its using its tribute to add and ss eff. Ame doesnt specify where its needs to be ss from jist the condition it needed to ss. So being tribute it triggers so even when under macro cosmos or shifter and he was tributed he will add and ss. So he triggers in grave bystial banishes moves to banish but ame says ss this card being itself so it should still come back.

Druidswarm does stop Ame because it changes the location from where it was sent to. You're correct in saying that it doesn't matter if it's banished or sent to GY, but effects need to trigger from where it was originally sent. So yeah, Shifter or Macro doesn't stop it, but any Bystial(or D/D crow I guess) does stop it, just make sure to Bystial it before it actually triggers lol

Board Breakers are actually pretty bad against it since they can negate many of those with Drillbeam, Sifr gives destruction protection, Spirit Ultimate can negate too... handtraps work much better against it. Its like you didnt watch the video
