That performance portrays who Dimash is through and through. Total commitment to the song, to the story told through him. He lives it. You can see he is in another place in his mind. He gives everything he has, and that is why I think he is the most complete artist of them all. And it’s why we love him so much.

I've been following Dimash Mandu for 3 years and it's still driving my mind crazy, Dimash is a unique artist and legend, he is the eighth wonder of the world. An inexplicable phenomenon, he broke the barriers of a singer's music, overcoming all known vocal limits because the strength and diversity of his voice is far above what we've heard before. A singer entirely from other dimensions. Hearing his voice is a challenge to how we truly perceive and love music. Even many of the most skeptical are seduced and seduced by the magic of this artist's vocal power. Dimash is not just a voice, on stage he is a mass of feelings and emotions. He tells stories through his voice and his body. He leaves his soul and heart on the stage. A teacher Who cares about the feelings of the character and the story he tells us to express it as it is. This is his story. Voice, body language, and tone of facial expressions and hands. Dimash He becomes the hero of the story, he not only interprets it, but lives it and feels it, and then delivers it in an amazing way that distinguishes him from others, an artist who captures your heart and soul. His talent is unparalleled and with his global base rising, he is amazing❤. !! Thank you for your interaction with Dimash ❤

Such a powerful and emotional performance. It's one of my favorites. Another amazing Bastau performance is Daididau. There's also a great backstory that you can get from Gloria Wu's channel and then switch over to Bastau like you did with this one.

@@JesseReacts Link for backstory of "Daididau" (G Wu channel) : kzbin.info/www/bejne/qoDWaKWho5hpgpI - in the beginning there`s the behind-the-scenes that you saw on The Singer, with Dimash at the Astana Opera, and then talking about the dombra and his hope and mission to share the kazakh culture with the whole world. Then there`s the backstory of "Daididau" - between 1 : 56 and 3 : 25 . I copied and pasted the link set the beginning of the backstory. After 3 : 25, the performance on The Singer begins, you can stop there and react to the Bastau performance, which is GORGEOUS. There`s a bit of a surprise in the beginning :)) Careful not to miss the end either, Dimash kneels and bows his head down to the stage, and when he raises back up again, his face is covered in tears, mixed with the sweat. He was very emotional, because the whole crowd sang the chorus with him, in his first solo concert. He was emotional also probably because he managed to pull through and gave a great performance despite the fact that both his in-ears broke at the beginning of the song. You`ll see him signaling in the beginning of the song, tapping them with his finger, but they couldn`t be fixed, and he had to give up on them completely.

👉 After returning from the Singer competition (2017, China), the Kazakh government was so impressed with Dimash's success that they sponsored Dimash's first solo concert entitled BASTAU. In preparation for the concert, Dimash worked so hard that he lost a lot of weight. His family was very concerned. Here, Dimash sang “Daybreak”- based on a true tragic story and is very well known in China. In 1999 14 people died in a cable car accident in China. The parents of a little boy lifted their son to safety, and they themselves died. Original singer and songwriter Han Hong later adopted the child. Dimash sings with so much pain in his voice it literally tears him apart ... and I can't stop crying. - First performance “Daybreak” with behind the scenes and background story (Singer 2017)- kzbin.info/www/bejne/q4mqd2qsnKqMgc0 - Original singer Han Hong: Daybreak - kzbin.info/www/bejne/iJ7XY4V9fceAo6c

Dimash only sang "Daybreak" in chinese (including here in Bastau concert, in Kazakhstan). Regarding the reaction of the crowd, I guess the (kazakh) public didn`t understand the lyrics (being in chinese), and the ones who had seen his performance on The Singer didn`t receive the backstory then either, the show didn`t add it to the episode. Gloria Wu added it, in her re-post of the performance, and mostly that is how a lot of the people figured out exactly the song is about. (people other than the Chinese, who knew) I get your reaction though, we feel it too (knowing the story). And it`s why we insist that reactors watch the version with the backstory. Many times they just react to the vocals, and don`t even turn the subtitles on, which is frustrating to the fans, but we have to be understanding too, without Gloria, very few of us would have known what the song is about :)
@JesseReacts2 жыл бұрын
Yeah in hindsight i do feel like there would be a role for Dimash in getting the backstory out to the crowd maybe. But i guess it’s kinda beautiful without the backstory. Haha

@@JesseReacts There were a lot of "Dimash ❤" luminous signs in the audience, in Chinese letters, so a lot of Chinese fans came to Kazakhstan for his concert, so at least they knew :) Did you notice the bodyguard turning towards the stage, in wonder, when Dimash bursts into high mix voice, at the phrase "A beautiful garden..." ? 9:55 on your video, or 2 : 58 on the original video :) Many reactors got distracted by the poor bodyguard and stopped the video to laugh about it. You cannot mix up Kazakh and Mandarin. Kazakh is a Turkic language with multisyllabic words and complex syllables. Overall it sounds guttural. Mandarin is the main language of the Sino-Tibetan family. The words have got one or two syllables. The syllables are simple and open. Closed syllables can end in -r, -n or -ng only. Therefore the Chinese call him Dimashi. A syllable cannot end with -sh. It sounds nasal.
