I added these lights to my tacoma and let me tell you it was a bear of an install (definitely not as easy as you made it out to be) the passenger bumper would not come off. I had to push some red pin to disengage the locking mechanism and even then it was like trying to pull teeth from a mountain lion. I had to apply a good amount of force to gain access to the side bolts ending up breaking off the bolt clip on the original headlights and the one of the top brackets (guess no going back to stock now) Finally after I had installed each headlights the fenders do not line up as well (hardly noticeable but I notice) During the testing of the headlights together the DRL's didn't want to work at first. I had to play with the wiring harness and then it finally worked properly (not sure what I did). After every thing was said and done they look and perform fantastic. I just need to fine tune the headlights as the driver's side projection is pretty low

A couple very important tips, #1 DO NOT ORDER THESE LIGHTS FROM PROTUNINGLABS (PTL). They’re from outside of LA. They totally fucked me over. They mailed me the wrong lights, then refused to give me a refund. #2 When you pull out the fender to access the clips 6:23 in the video, attempt to reach in the fender and squeeze the clip to release it. I could do this for one of the 2 sides on my 2019 TRD Pro, the other side I had to just pry it off with a screwdriver with tape on it. Everything worked out great, but it will damage the clip a bit when u pry it off. Not a game changer, but be gentle when pulling it off so you can access the bolt holding the headlight secure from the side. This is a great video and helped tremendously!! Thank you!!

Those look pretty sweet! We’re too busy to be able to film it but we’ve started wrapping the vette and the headlights are body colored so we’re going to have to replace or tint them to make the car flows design like this would be perfect 👌 great tutorial👍

Hi Jesse I bought those headlights but unfortunately the right side came defective 3 times the DRL piece is not clipped all the way in you can see the light bulbs only on the passenger side did you have the same issue with yours?

I had a 2003 mustang some time ago, and I did something similar. That was the easiest removal and install Ive had done on a car. Both lenses had just two metal flat stakes to remove. Not like this where youre removing the entire front end

it honestly doesn’t matter if you don’t plan on hitting any trails at night anytime soon maybe the headlights first as those u can use them and they show on your truck as far as the bumper light bar that helps out a lot at night if your hitting trails since you can only use it when off-roading but I would suggest if you have both the headlight and the light bar on hand right now I would suggest installing both at the same time since u do have to remove the grill for both installs 👍

They work exactly the same they use a halogen bulb just like the stock housing only thing with these u have to readjust them when u receive them as there pointed up not down but that’s a simple process just need straight pavement and a wall to see the light where it’s pointing , I’d say the same just u get the looks 👌 and that sequential blinker :) and that bright drl gets a lot of compliments on the road and off

Hey brother awesome video and info! Just bought these from Tacomabeast on Black Friday, so I was looking for a vid and came across yours! I actually got some LED taillights to match. Can’t wait to install them both! Speaking of LEDs, I have Auxbeams in my stock headlights so I’m just gonna put them in my new sequential headlights. Question though, I want to adjust them so they shine lower (since my truck has a lift). Is that pretty easy to do? Thanks in advance.

Those tailights are so nice!!! Maybe some day I’ll swap mine to ;)!, it’s easiest if u can get a good deal somewhere to get them adjusted but it’s nothing u can’t do yourself in the back of the headlights you will notice there should be two knobs those knobs are the ones that twist the beam up and down all u need is a flat land to park ur truck on and a wall I’m not sure on how many feet I should have the truck from the wall but I know it should help and then it just twist away go slowly though so u don’t mess the beam up to much and just repeat the same exact process to the other side 👍 I hope that helps, for me I just had a buddy do it for me at work he used a little machine that points the light in but it’s prrtty much same process

Good video. But for me, I don't like the way the DRL's turn off when you use your turn signals. I much prefer my DRL's to remain on while the turn signals are flashing. But they do look very nice on your truck.

So wow! Already got them! Tail lights coming this week! Man I got questions. I find that the lights provided really I mean really STINK! I ended up crashing my truck a few weeks ago and got it back late let week. I had my body shop install them instead of getting factory ones. Who knew the best way to get some mods for your truck was to crash it lol! They really struggled with aligning the lights. I got them “ok”. Thankfully I have Auxbeam fog lights. I heard you say you were going to upgrade them to LED’s. Tacoma Beast said they do not recommend it as it would void their warranty. I cannot see how the bulbs they supply can be a long term thing. I’m really looking forward to you upgrading them because I need help!! Lol! Let me know what you think. I definitely agree the sequential part of the light is dope! FYI I also saw your hidden light bar behind the grill. I hope I didn’t miss that video. Good stuff my man!

Jesse Rizo I got the tail lights that Rob Daman has. He gave a 20% coupon which made the price easier to swallow lol! I’m not sure if you saw his video. I got the same the smoked tail lights they looked sick! I may check around my area to see if I can maybe get a HID conversion kit. I don’t trust myself to do one of those. Sticking in LED lights like the fog are super easy. Yeah Tacoma Beast said they have had people modify the headlights but would void the warranty. Jesse Rizo Nice can’t wait. I just installed the tail lights and oh man they look sooooo good. I did end up just getting LED’s for the headlights went to a local place because they had to modify the cover etc.. didn’t feel comfortable doing it my self. The give away should be here tomorrow can’t wait. Looking forward to the light bar and wire harness to OEM switch videos!

Heck yea :)!!! Hopefully I get some tailights soon to I seriously like how those look lol I’m sure ur gna get a lot of compliments, and I’ll have to look into it still because I like bright lights I’ll be honest I hate that yellowish stock bulb look lol, and yea man I hope you like them there startup pods I like mine so far lol, and forsure man 😎 I appreciate that

Hi Jesse, I'm using this video as a reference for me on how to take my front bumper cover off. I have a scratch on my front bumper so I am going to take it off and raptor spray it. In your video, you didn't take the bumper cover off completely, but if you were to do that, is it jus taking off the additional bolts on the bottom, or is there anything else I should be mindful of? Also, is it possible to take off the black bumper grill that sits between the fog lights? Thank you!

Needs LED bulbs,you should get SuperNova V3 LED from headlight revolution.They are amazing.
